Samsung Keyboard's swipe feature has to go side by side with predictive input. Can't disable predictive while retaining swipe function, like on Swype.

That's cool. How's the battery life though, can it last more than 8 hours? Have you tried the S-Voice? Is it good as advertised?

This is USB OTG in the youtube video if you don't know what it is as demonstrated with the S2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giJXF5pIITc

mass storage mode is you plug in your phone to a computer and be able to use it like a pendrive.
*
ya I know that mass storage mode like connect phone with computer using usb cable, then show like pendrive

Yeah basically you can connect stuff to your phone with a usb converter.
USB OTG function in the SIII is confirmed, you can have it without needing to have mass storage mode

Well that's a given I guess. If Mass Storage mode available, Samsung would have to partition the internal storage like most android based phones before ICS where there's a small amount of space for apps separate from the rest of the internal storage since the storage can not be mounted on two different devices (eg. the phone and a computer) at the same time and dismounting the internal space with the apps could make the phone go crazy. There are still new phones that use that type of storage like the HTC One series. Google wants android devices to start moving towards a single partition for everything in the internal storage.

It's a good trade off in my opinion for the SIII. You get the whole internal storage for apps instead of measly 2gb or so like my SII which is currently bugging me that I'm running out of internal memory for apps when there's about 200mb left in the app partition.
*
True, I'd prefer them moving this direction. The 200mb restriction is killing. We'll see more apps with large size downloadable straight from market instead of having separate sd data

Something to read on MTP here:
1. Impromptu Q&A Session With Android Engineer Dan Morrill Brings To Light Reasons Behind Galaxy Nexus' Lack Of USB Mass Storage
2. Ice Cream Sandwich explained: MTP - what is it, why use it, and how to set it up
3. Connecting the Galaxy Nexus to your computer via MTP and the lack of USB Mass Storage

Can anyone just summarise the pros and cons of MTP vs UMS?? I don't see MTP having lots of cons

Normally Senheng will give extra 1 year warranty on top of manufacturer warranty, if Samsung give 1 year (as all Samsung's phones) then Senheng will provide total 2 years warranty including 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Try reading the links I posted for their reason to move to MTP. With MTP, the phone is not blocked, meaning the phone can still use the files in the storage when we're transferring files (we don't have to mount/unmount the phone).
And we get the full internal storage (16/32/64GB) for installing apps and data purposes (unlike previously on UMS where we have a separate partition for apps and always having problems with low storage notification).

not true.. referring to the MTP in my GTab 10.1, i can still transfer files via drag and drop OR cut and paste.. no issues so far except for trying to edit information e.g. edit song title in properties.

it will show as a device instead of a mass storage like USB pen drives. I don't see any major effect on the usability as i can still do the things i want with it. anyway, i only use it to transfer big files like movies or when transferring many songs into it. other than that, i will just use normal wireless transfer, ftp or cloud storage. So, no issue. not to worry.

Yes, tested to trf via MTP lastime. Super slow shakehead.gif mass storage is faster.

In my view, mtp and usb 1.0 speed are equal tongue.gif
