But roo bad the WEI only detects the intel chipset as GPU, hence the 5.6!

Did you take the 15R with 1TB + 32GB SSD or just the 1TB?

However, it's Good to know that dell has overcome the BSOD issue!

Ya, for the 14R SE, its using NVIDIA.
It has a better switching programe than AMD. Also you can even set the NVIDIA as "primary" in its control panel    but not for the AMD  . (based on my search in other forums)

but overall, both are almost the same in performance with NVIDIA    leading by a bit!

Anyway, i had to go for the 15R SE because it is has the msata SSD 32GB  ! which utilises all the 4 cores to the max! compared to just a HDD 5400rpm 

BTW, hows your gaming experience with  it?

my dell inspiron 14r se had no problem at all~ great screen and great speaker~
but it is quite irritating that many of dell program is useless inside this lappy... u need time to uninstall it and if u didnt ur start up will be slower~
sometime the fan has some "zzz" sound... (i think most of the new dell inspiron 14r se have this kind of problem)

i try this lappy on Diablo 3 and NFS the RUN~ nice graphic with gt640M~ no lagging at all~ the palm site quite hot when i just on my ceiling fan, if with air-cond is just nice~ warm warm~

Might upgrade RAM to 8GB.

As a noob to Windows 7, can someone guide me on the following:

1. What is the best power management plan to use if I don't want the battery to be constantly charged? And should I disable sleep mode if I want to leave the laptop to download overnight?
2. How to update drivers?
3. How to create a partition for my hard disk?
4. How to monitor temperature? Any recommended softwares or does the laptop have its own built-in software?

Is the reformat easy? I keep reading around ppl having problems reformating due to the SSD and Intel's SRT.

I tried searching for latest drivers using Window's Device Manager. No results.

Anyway how do you guys turn on WiFi? It always tells me my Wireless adapter is not enabled, but I have no idea where the option to turn it on is. I already tried using the FN key and the radio icon.

It's been 2 month now. My dell14r se does great performance on gaming now im playing Sleeping Dogs.. no lags or hangs but it seems to get heated on top of the keyboard near the fan outlet. Can someone help me how to cooldown the pc. i had also use coolermaster fan below. n
