random bsod happens to you also ? happened to me twice already today at random times.

sad to say, im sending my 14r se back to dell tmr. dell is replacing a new set for me.

yea, they said to build a new one and deliver it to me will take approx 2 weeks. i dont mind though as long its a new set

hey guys, sent my 14r se back to dell last tuesday. good thing is that dell asked the delivery service to come over to my site and collect the lappie and also they are not fixing my lappie but replacing a new one for me. still waiting for my new set to arrive though.

Dell said in 2 weeks time. Still waiting here. Lol

Random bsod almost everyday. And its only 5 days old. Sent the error report to them and they agree to replace a new one for me.

Lol. My opinion is that you should demand a new set instead of fixing it. Not even a day and it spoil adi. Like mine not even a week and its faulty and dell agree to change a new set for me

currently im the one here suffering from BSOD. any 14r se users suffering the same thing like me ?

how bout 15r se users ? yea, for 14r se the gt 640m drivers was giving problems. went i 1st got my laptop, i cant even search for the driver on nvidia page :0

Better use it more often. If it still bsod like say, everyday, you might be able to request a new set like me.

Ah, same prob like me. Driver state power failure.

I sent it back 2 weeks ago. dell agreed to replace a new set for me.

Update : dell has just refunded my money today and will process a new unit for me. Well, im expecting it to arrive earliest by the 1st week of july :0

Well i prefer the 640m you can always sacrifice your dvd drive and add a ssd there

Screen wise yes. But having a FHD screen do puts a heavier load on the gpu. But of course, that build would cost more than 3k rite ?

its because dell sent a delivery courier to my place and retrieve my lappie and they invoice me rm80 for it. so they charged me rm 2719 for the lappie.

got back my set today. the 1st set i have was running on nvidia 301 driver. now its running on nvidia 295 driver. hope it goes well..

Yup. It seems the nvidia driver that comes with the set is downgraded from the previous set i have.

got a new set and no bsod yet. everything seems to run fine. backup the recovery partition using dell datasafe and then i wipe the hdd clean, repartition it and re-installed windows using the reinstallation disc and the driver disc. you can use the minidump file to see whats the error after u've recover from bsod
