any bro here can recommend any good tyre shop to get the michellin xm2 tyre for my stock 14 inch rim ? klang valley shop needed ...
*
Kemuning Utama behind Giant got Teoh Brothers tyre shop look for 4 eye uncle. Price is NOT cheap, but reasonable. Kungfu wise... ONLY THE BEST! My long shakey bum bum ISWAGA was well treated now can do 170kmh slow cruising without puking my brains out anymore. BLM was treated well also, 4 eyed uncle know the best for me! In case 4 eyed uncle not around, look for a guy name Ah Hee, only Hokkian/Mandarin/Bahasa.

4 eyed uncle the best tyre man I've ever roll my wheels with. Although the shop is damn far away, but I prefer to go back there as long as they're in business. Do drop a recommended member price of "YAU YIP" recommendation.

QUOTE(iXora.ix @ Jun 4 2012, 03:46 PM)
hard to say also.. the SC just to help him to clear the dust correct.. hahaha
*
The brake rubber in our ride is very the soft la. With dust it covers the surface so it won't stick on the drum. No more dust then ma every morning/after office in the evening also stick lor.

Tired of sticky brake shoes? Lack performance of heated drum surface? brows.gif

To those who may or might ask, What if I drive 150kmh-160kmh all the way from KL to Penang? How is the FC gonna be like?

I have the answer for you:

RM70, so 36.84L for 321km (Tol Juru-R&R Sungai Buloh) + round and round around island in the morning looking for breakfast and go Penang bridge drag race (approx 30km). 9.5km/L laugh.gif
*
Almost same like town driving, not much difference with old BLM. Admire CVT unsure.gif

guy, i need your help, please test who have flx cvt. i just want confirm only.
need someone to reverse then someone need stand outside try hear some sound come front engine,
because driver cant hear clearly compare outside one. i also cant notice until my frenz told me.

today i already send to SC, but they told me this is normal sound (sound weird). hmm.gif
thanksĀ  notworthy.gif
*
Eeeee.... sound is the fuel pump. All EFI cars has it. To identify this, start your engine, go towards your rear right wheel, duck and listen, you'll hear loud and clear electric pump's noise. I guess that's what you heard. Not only after engine started, before you start your engine, stick your key in, turn the key 1 step fro accessories power, then 2nd step to activate the fuel pump and general power supply, then you'll hear a short moment of "eeee" sound from the back of the car. This is to prepare your fuel rail/injectors to have enough petrol to start the engine. Which is why EFI cars is easier to start the engine. Older type of carburetor require a manual CHOKE like your granddad's Morris Minor(oh and my brother's 1989 Plotong GaGa) laugh.gif

p/s: when driving the sound is still there, but you probably didn't hear it as it was offset by the noisy wheels and other rattling sound(or may be your wife)

What reason..?

Mai la. Pak David kasi pinjam BLM lu bawak test dulu. Nanti lu sukak spring lembu, kita swap spring la brows.gif

For your info, if stock spring is hard, you have no reference to change to soft spring as it might jeopardized handling. If solely based on the hardware judgement, tyre profile 50 is nipis. Harsh & bumpy is expected, unless you change to 55 tyres with less tyre pressure such as 28psi, that will give you more comfortable driving experience. Don't forget, if you do so, your FC will be jeopardize because of thicker tyre profile + wider surface contact due to low tyre pressure.

To grind it to the ultimate, get a 13inch rim, stuck a 175/70/13 tyre on it, you'll get better FC + super comfy ride icon_idea.gif but your car can drift like AE86 during rainny days ohmy.gif all in all, conclusion is to adapt your car setup, drive like a pro "in your car"

In fact, I did most of my town driving at Penang with L gear. Puk!mak drivers. vmad.gif vmad.gif

Err.. cut queue is 1 thing, but no signal cut queue and last minute jump in, that's really something. On the other hand, when you put signal try to cut lane, the car behind see you signal will speed up and block your entry. So, the standard practice is, cut in half before you put on your signal, then slowly cut in the rest to "confuse" them you're being polite. If you put on signal, you don't care and cut in straight away, they will honk you for "reckless" driving, not considering the car behind(by the way the car behind probably already full throttle going to block your way). Basically few years working in Penang I already got used to it.

If somebody wants to cut your queue, you better do the same. Either speed up let them slot in AFTER you, or slow down 9² let them in, but you'll get honk from the car at your back as if they're shouting at you "why let people cut queue", most probably he/she will overtake you and hard brake infront of you to show you some "true color".

Where is Luke(lhwj)? laugh.gif He's Penang kia rite? Come clarify la rclxm9.gif

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Jun 5 2012, 08:29 PM)
they will cut into your lane even there's a gap half the size of a Kancil. There was once a Sentra did this to me on McCalister Street. I chase the bloody ******* and when I reached the corners around the Eastern & Oriental Hotel and Boon Siew, I straight away dive into the big gap in front of him and I quickly countersteer. Then I continue "near missing" him throughout the road of Pengkalan Weld.  Bloody hell, I'm already on the middle lane doing 70, and he from the left lane, cut into my lane behind me, then cut to the right then cut back to the middle lane and nearly hit my fender! mad.gif
*
Well, I guess that NOT only happen in Penang, this type of moron is everywhere, just so happened you bump into one of them at McCalister. However, Penang driving culture is generally men kek kee type. See what Luke's reply, he's NOT the normal Penang kia.

QUOTE(lhwj @ Jun 5 2012, 08:41 PM)
laugh.gif Didn't expect anyone to mention my name tongue.gif

Err, actually I find that most of the time if I signal even before moving out people will let me through. Dunno whether it's just me, but I rarely have any problems joining queues. In a jam if anyone wants to cut in in front of me I'll gladly let them, if they signal and there's enough space nod.gif No point risking an accident by blocking them. Obviously my driving habits are quite different from normal blush.gif

I've been living in PJ for the past nine months though, and driving around here and KL is pretty different. In Penang, drivers can be annoying, but here I find a high proportion of aggressive drivers who like to cucuk you. I really dislike kena cucuk shakehead.gif I follow ikut kiri kecuali memotong religiously but sometimes it isn't possible, like when you wanna over take a line of cars in front going at 60 km/h, you pull out onto the right lane and do 80 km/h and then they come behind at 120 km/h sweat.gif Talking mainly about the LDP and Sprint. Maybe it's because there's a lot of highways connecting one place to another. On the other hand, putting aside these aggressive drivers I think people here are more in control of their vehicles lah.
*
brows.gif now that's how you do 500km/tank. Anyway, regarding driving in KL, just continue do 80kmh until you finish overtaking. KL is not generally agressive, but its rather rushing through traffic.

QUOTE(mtcc @ Jun 5 2012, 08:56 PM)
unfortunatly i check with the dealer they say no more test drive for other cars except preve.

Where is the better place to arrange TT so everyone get to participate? Plan to make music video for us, therefore will capture some of the ride's specialty. Music will be produce by myself, drummer/bassist are welcome to form a band to help out the background music. Was thinking of Linkinfark song, but scrap that after figured copyright issue, will produce own music instead.

Video is NOT meant for any commercial purpose, neither related to any club's entity. What's your view about this? Will you let me videoshoot your ride? We don't promote illegal activity, therefore either 0 racing activity will be included in the video, or only those WITHIN speed limit will be included. Vehicle's registration number will be treat with "mosaic", or even better if you can make a temporary/creative plate to replace your registration number during shooting.

Do remember I don't take no money/benefit for making the video. Just out of interest + hobby, I hope 1 day after many years, may be that time we look back and recall once we fell in love with this fugly not human drive car. What say you? Strictly open for all BLM/FL/FLX/FLX SE enthusiasts. Let me know what you think. If yes, we arrange a major TT and let's have fun. You may proudly send a link to your friend to show off our TT and your ride. Long live GAGA!

Try wax 1st. Scratch remover got 2 types. 1 is like wax, to fill up the marks, another type is to scrub the whole area become even. So, if can fill up, pls fill up. Normally 99 can only handle minor hairline scratches, depends on how deep the scratch is.

I've got a bottle of Turtle Wax, new unused. If u happened to drop by Jln Ipoh area, let me know via PM, can try to wax your butt by the roadside.

I bought a 2 point bar for my iswaga 8 years ago when my car was 8 years old that time. The problme is, the bar fits just fine with any other LMST/LMM on the road, also tried it compatible with my old GAGA1.5, but its too long for my ISWAGA. Magician said, a factory fresh vehicle, if came without reinforment strut support, after several years of punish/tortured by a moron like me, normally the strut tower are compressed inward, therefore the after market(premeasured length) strut bar became too long for my car blink.gif Not sure how real is it, but my Plotong Fira has been servising its tenure with a cekai strut bar for wonderful 16 years with its 2 previos owner & myself(both previous owners are my friend).

Frankly, those strut bars have never gave me any different driving experience. I get the same amount of "body roll" when I attack roundabouts, compare my 1.6 with my other 1.3 FIRA, they felt exactly the same with/without he strut bar. In short, I wanted to bar just to keep the car in shape. Be it real or placebo, its only RM250+ for both front & rear. Rather than few years later somebody offer me a bar, when I try to pasang and found the bar is longer than my strut towers! shakehead.gif

Speaking of which, I think that's why my ISWAGA need to adjust camber so damn often, because the tower already compressed/senget.
