im on build 6. battery is just ok but not as good as compared with vipers. well im not a power user anyways

Tried build 5 and 6...battery is more or less the same..but my build5 have less random reboot with sultan kernel compared to build6.

Hi guys. I'm new to is android system.. I would like to unlock my bootloader n s-off my sensation xe in order to root my phone and install custom rom.

Based on what I've read I can unlock bootloader from htcdev.. Here is my problem. Normal sensation is not in the device list.. There are sensation t mobile,EU, Arabic, Korea.. Which one should I choose to unlock my bootloader? Mine is on hboot1.29

Some reading also lead me to this JuopunutBear S-OFF works with 1.29.0000 hboot.. With paper clip method.. Does this mean once I s off using this method I get my device unlocked as well? I got confused with this and I can't proceed to root n flash custom rom..

Pls enlighten me.. Thank

what's your hboot version? (Shut down your phone, pull battery out, put battery back in, hold volume down Plus power....wait for white bootloader screen)

I've used jeopunutBear once before on my bro's phone. What i did is just s-off, install custom recovery and root the phone. I did not unlocked my bootloader. Now able to install custom rom via cwm/4ext.

Why dont u just try to s-off using jeopunutbear? In the end u still can install custom rom without unlocking your bootloader via htcdev.
