guys any tips on soloing rakanoth?

i just have 42k dps without ss, 30k-ish hp and bout 500 resist, 3500 armor.

his blink strike 1 shots me thats the main problem.

DH reporting in - just started Inferno Act I last night - it was hard - died couple of times
29K HP
25K DPS
probably need to increase def / armor / resistant

any advice?

Increase dps, resist.

I not sure with Inferno as i not yet try yet, but maybe alert to his movement and ready to smokescreen ? Thats what i do in Hell difficulty. Feel free to revert though.

up resist and dps... btw ur 25k using sharpshooter? or without?

just used Vault against some bosses with teleport-attack ability, like Skeleton king & Rakanoth

predict his movement then just vault whenever he strikes

Yeah those with high cdmg + socket are crazily expensive.. I got mine pretty cheap I think.

Good idea! I've been struggling to pump my AllRes but all the prices are like...

well, my build totally changed since what I posted the other day.

initially it was <10k hp 500+ resist 21k dps with SS.

I've since upped it to about 19k hp (100% increase), 730++ resist (approx 40% - 50% increase) and 33k dps with ss (approx 50% increase).

With that I have sacrificed my gf% / mf% max value BUT i can survive the Elites way better.

Previously, I'd probably die a few times for each elite. Last I tried on this build, I could kill 8 or more elites and died only twice.

No point having high gf% / mf% when I die often, my repair cost end up more than what I gain. And die repeatedly is no fun.

Built in crit 43%, w/ dex & vit, a socket.

Should be able to fetch at least 1.5m ~ 2m.. but survey first before posting it, as this price is just based on my previous experience.
