ur dmg is much much too low..

Damage is fine imo. I clear act 3 until izual with only 70k dps with ss. And that was pre patch. Now should be easier.

how bout ur hp and dex/ All Resistance den? should be high?? ..the problem is ..i take too long to kill 1 ..or die too much with new repair cost is bugging..I have to go bak to farm act 1 for money to repair.

You need more HP or DPS to clear act 3 efficiently. I had around 35k clean DPS with 40k HP, 350+ All Res when I started to be able to farm efficiently in Act 3.

If youre low on dps, use dmg caltrops, no other way about it.
If you dont know how to use caltrops, just farm for better gear.

Min dps without caltrop is 40k, and thats barely cover it.
To farm comfortably, need 50k-60k.

I personally hate caltrops, and the fact that blizzard nerf everything just retards the intention to even invest some time to try and utilize it properly.
Dont want caltrops to be the next NT.Fall in love once, then taken away from me.

Im now having a hard time with Ghom.... Cant kill it yet... Still farming for more AR eq while trying to add damage into it...

combined with ss and night stalker . DH will have 'near' immortality

should DH focus more on armor or all resist? i'm trying not to get 1-shotted in act 3.. currently i have about 2.8k armor/100 all resist/24k hp/32k dps without SS

depends on ur play style. u can actually build a tank DH with high all resists but at the same time maintaining a decent dps, but it probably costs u of millions.

Focus to critical chance and critical damage, my hp 18k, resist 400, dex 14xx, armor 27xx, critical chance 50.5%, critical damage is 150%. Dps 40k without ss.

What u guys think of my DH now..

48k Hp
2.8k Armor
1.8k Dex
2x 600++ dps bow
Critical damage about 189%
normal damage 30k without SS
with SS about 50k
1.9 iAS

what's ur resistance?

all jumbled up

gonna need 400-500 average resistance since u'll kill very slow

hmm now im in dillema.. whether to:

Option 1.

- get higher dex + vit + critical damage + higher damage (without caring resistance)

OR

Option 2.

- get higher resist and maintain HP, with of coz higher dex + higher damage

if u have enough vit and high resist and also keep dps around 40k unbuffed.. u will farm whole inferno with ease..

i have a friend with 40k hp 600+ resistance ~1.9k dex farming act 3/4 like no tomorrow..

i personally prefer glass cannon though.. but risky when solo haha

Depends on your current stats / playstyle. Both armor and all resistance is important but for your current stats, I think you'll need more all res (at least 350) and slightly more hp (35k+).

What's your lowest most common All resistance then?

Your HP seems to be fine already. Gotta need more all res if your all res is below 300. There's something about where we must have a balance between Armor, All Resistance and HP to have a good "EFFECTIVE HP".. but I not sure how it work yet.. so confusing
