if i use bliz/hydra, my mana is almost everytime full...1 crit with magic missile gives me 20 arcane...i can almost spam blizz with unrelenting storm

A pair of hardcore mode dudes called Kripp and Krippi has beaten Diablo on inferno, pre-patch. So yes, he is beatable for us normal softcore people post-patch

If you have "arcane power on crits".. try using it with Energy Twister with Wicked Wind.

hm... personally i feel magic missle although high damage but only single target. I use the piercing orb all the time (high dmg and go through all the mobs)

Why hydra not benefit by life steal /Life on hit but affected by reflect damage???? is it fair???

Magic missile with seeker allows you to take potshots from around the corners. Very handy in tight corridors or stairs or things you need to hit around the bend. Ideally a melee distracts the dude

Erm, yes this one is very stupid. I can't count how many times I've died to my own hydra by now.

The best thing to do is stack Life on hit, vit, and resist. If you have enough resist+primatic armour, they shouldn't be as much of a nuisance.

Was mainly talking bout your oculus, but your other stats are canggih as well. Digging the crit, but too expensive to afford now. Once you have a new 1h sure damn power oredi

Magic missle is useful if you also use arcane orb, since that does enough AOE. But yeah with blizz, since dmg is over 6 seconds and kinda slow, I use piercing orb.

Yes fixed in patch 1.0.3, and explicitly stated in the patch notes as well.

Yeap, Krippi (wiz) and Kripp (barb) completed HC Inferno, and Krippi did very much used this bug. Definitely saved him at the very least in one major incident during Diablo fight, without which he would most likely have been dead (was watching live stream)

Hey sifus, what's an ideal amount of HP/armor/allresist/dps to get through Inferno Act2? It's doable for me right now, but that would be corpserunning my way through, which isn't ideal as I'm trying to save as much gold as possible. Getting bored of farming in act1 also lol.

I'm using arcane crit build and am loving it. However, I use it with energy twister (wicked wind rune). Technically, I can non-stop cast... and instant cd on all my skills with crit-mass

melee wiz, dps only 13k. but +18 arcane power on crit. 33% crit chance, +100% inc crit damage, 900 life on hit, 22k life
armor 8.5k all resists 1.1k. when fighting big mobs, or illusion elites is best.
can permafreeze/ perma meteor shower them. (star pact). save my DH barbarian and monk teammates. great combo if u going with alot of glass cannons. only abit weak if u fighting 1v1 monster

yesterday played thru 1 full run of inferno act 3.... lose 300k gold in repairs+ very bad ilvl63 rolls haha damn pain weh nowadays

*note that if you have barbarian team mate, you can play force armor +5% critical cos of their imba armor+resistance buff.

My equips aren't perfect yet. Still missing lotsa components. Planning to push crit further to 50%, Arcane Power on Crit to 15 - 20 and RA to 1k.


You should try with Twister bro.. I was also using SpectralBlade / Meteor (Starpact) with the same equip.. then switched to Twister (Wicked Wind). Don't need a signature after the switch. They crit way too much and has no problem maintaining vs 1mob.

LoH is comparable to Blade, if not higher if you stack them
