to be a successful barb, it is necessary to have STR + VIT + all resist.

if u use shield, try to get as much block% rate as u can.

resist > vit > str imo

i spent like 800k on AH for full sett including weapon and shield, am doin good in a1 inferno. still farmin for gold n better eqs there.

most of the eq i bought focus mainly on vit n resist.

just get ur resist to around 800 after warcry is good enough to survive a1 inferno.

as for hp, around 35k abv is good enough and dps around 9k+

what i did to kill the elites n farm is by using Serk,Insanity first (to have resist to all effects like nightmarish/frozen/jail), and then follow by Earthquake(path of fire).

Usually the elites will die or left like 5% hp after the earthquake dies off and u can jz take it down easily.

for skill wise, i used

Frenzy, Side arm (for mobbing since i dont have Cleave)
Charge, for mobility and hp gain when Revenge does not trigger
EarthQuake, for elites
Berserk, for elites n boss immunity
Warcry, for armor n resist boost
Revenge, Prov.

if you want to do like that, make sure u have enough HP pool to even KITE lolol

Early stage as in what stage? Pre-inferno stage?

Does that mean that the same piece of rare you have equiped provides the same or greater amount of resist all on the magic equipment i have shown? Sometime it is neccessary to sacrifice damage over dps.

Didnt read through all the posts. Am wondering anyone current progressing act2 with ease? Im having 800+ allres with buff, 18k dps,!8k armor with buff and 44k ho. Still elitesngive me a lot of trouble. What am i missing? Hope all the pros here provide some advice

The block rate is very important for survivability?
I have no LOH though, cant afford those ridiculous price on AH.

Thinking of rolling one barbarian. Sick of using DH always die.
I got 12millions to spend right now but I can farm more.
Wondering if its enough for a decent gear to farm act3 inferno or maybe act4?

^can ..barb also always die one ...got video showing a barb with 1mil worth of gears can go all the way to act 3 inferno

I want to be able to farm.. Die of course will die but can barbarian fight elite pack in act 3/4 with 20m+ worth of gear?

If not then i'll invest into my DH for more dps..
