I heard 2handed weapon suit better for Barb.
Well, it just dat low tier 2hd weapon is not powerfull enuff if to compare with 1hd + 1hd weapon, but at hight tier, 2hd will pawns 1hd weapon at its range.

o yah, plus 2hd weapon got more magic features.

hmm.. i saw some of u guys said u got 800 dps or something.....

mind to share how u guys achieve that? in what lvl r u guys now? is it 2 handed or 1 handed weapon? did u guys sacrifice vitality for strength?

mine is lvl 56, playing HELL (not inferno, just now i mistakenly said) , all EQ got strenght + vita + gold find. 2handed mace with 3++dps (mouse over the weapon and this figure will pop out) with 1 socket (ruby add damage, cant recall the stats).

strength : 1028 (something like cat, cant recall)
vitality : 27k
armour : 4000 (somewhere around there)
damage : 3500 (somewhere around there). will increase to 5+++ when battle rage activated

ok, my weapon show 3++ DPS..while my raw DAMAGE is 3+++k.

did u guys mean DPS is total 'DAMAGE' on your stats screen? or is it the weapon DPS itself (when u hover your mouse to your weapon?



so the 800 DPS u guys were talking about is the green one or yellow one?

u got a decent stats of damage and armour, should be ok to solo nightmare.

try to change some skills (this is to increase your elemantal resist or all damage stats, pls take note, higher armour stats do not decrease the pain u taking from arcane, fire, poison, cold etc. (Another way to increase your 'All Damage' is by having INT in youe EQ. 1 INT equals to 0.01 All Damage. :

> passive skill : superstitious (increase all elemental damage to 25%)
> active skill : war cry + the runes that increase your armour and all damage (i forgot the runes name)
> get a 1 or 2 EQ that have +** all damage stats.
conclusion : in my case, with my EQ that has +28 all damage stats, when I selected 'superstitous as my passive and activated 'war cry', my average of 'all damage' stats are like 60-80.

extra :
+ u need to buff up ur HP
+ yup can farm till lvl 60 in nightmare I guess, just rinse and repeat the quest in nightmare, shouldnt be a prob.
+ try to use an active skills that have 'regain life when u hit or kill'. Its worrth it.
+ dont stret go cheong to enemy and hack hack slash slash while remain at the same positon for 3-4 second. We need to micro our toon. use hit n run tactic. circle them a bit, drag/delay the battle to give spare time for our cooldown abilities to reset, and u will learn the idea to get rid off them.

o yah, me currently soloing in hell act 2. lvl 58. die so many time oso. but with above style, i at least manage to survive. (but killing enemy took longer time)

Hell yea Im a Seismac slam fanboys too, feels like Thor smash his Mjolnir to the ground and earth is shaking yo but now I use Rend + (rune > damaging foe regain life when using Rend) as i use hit n run style

actually there is no wrong build, I love damage too. last time i was a 2 handed battle barb (all my passive and active skills are offensive one), but I died so many times in Hell difficulty. So I change to 1 handed weapon with shield, and then revamp the whole passive and active skills. Thus, the 1 mention above is a suggestion if u still keep dying in Nightmare. Well, I tried it in Hell (solo), it works for me

haha, u remind me a funny moment. I was playing co op with my fren. Then when a lots of enemy come, I kite the enemy towards them..especially in small map and got choke corners...they was like..Fuhh~!!

yes true sir. indeed we need to beef up all these resistant too. try to get as much as u can.

nope necessary have to focus on 'all resist'. Depends on you role, are you a tanker or DD in your party? And also depends on your stats. mine above is tanker role and I focus on +all resist as I really want absorb the pain and let my coop DD do the killings.

but y dont we just buy EQ's that have 'all resistant 'modifier + 'armor' modifier.
this in case if u rlly wanna be a tanker, ur VIT will be waaayy higher than ur STR

and u think other toon dont have their disadvantages?

ur 'all resist' damage must be low then.
