Hard to switch playstyle bro. I play my fiancee's Act II Hell Wiz, all you ever do is blizzard venom hydra lightning kite kite kite kite. Then if you get some blue that are teleporter or vortex or waller or jailer then is gg liao. sometimes no even need these skills, if the mob type is like those naturally fast moving / jumper type also fucuking annoying to fight as Wiz.

Well, i'm not in the rush to finish the quest, was more to enjoy the game get rares and gold, or maybe make the game more challenging rather then just rush in and weck and die , then revive to checkpoint n weck again.

And then later on repair. Ya at lvl 60 with nephalem you will get it back eventually, but why need to spend the extra dollar for something you can avoid.

Just time. Different people have diff perspective, just explaining my build n method because i think they one who is asking is not 60 yet for nephalem so $$ is very important. :-)

well, some mob combination is totally retarded to do all the kiting (lol invulnerable, lol minion, lol illusionist, lol shielding, or hey, all 4 of these!)

at that point you have 2 choices:
bite the bullet and fight them (be it your method or my method of pulling them to the check point, and zerg/res rushing them to until they dead)

or just ignore/skip them.

if i would to fight them, id want them dead in the shortest period of time so it'll actually be worthwhile. the game at inferno is already "challenging" (more like retarded gear checks and annoying mob attributes) as it is IMHO/TBH

I totally agree with you. I too wanna kill them ASAP and move in but sadly, its not the case. LOL.

So I'm stuck with kiting, unless with a kick a** eq n DPS weapon.

i like how our 1k dps claws are over 10mil, while DH xbows are only ~5mil.
case of supply and demand, and we have no supplier while DH are their own suppliers.

f*** this game lol.

just tweak my build a bit, now i'm having less dps, only at 10k, but with 800 hp leeched per hit. surviving better, but it sucks when i have to have all 4 defensive skills on my tab + mantra & 100 fist... killing is so slow LOL but i manage to hang in there.

funny how i survived better with 2weapon rather than weapon + shield

am gonna respec my skills to have the monsters reduce dmg after hit as well, i think we have 25

tanking in inferno XD

34k basic. not buffing, so it is as it is, 10k dps, 600 life per hit 2% dmg to life, 200 res all, 3.3k armor. after the skill tweak i'm able to tank multiple normal mobs no problem but with the huge dmg reduction elite is taking some time but doable

Elites, doable? Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol... Because I run like that kid in the Inferno Tactic video whenever I see elites.

36HP, 11K DPS, 450 life regen per second, 200 life per hit, 320 all resist, 5.1K armor (without buff)
Still die in a matter of seconds. laugh.gif

I suggest removing thte earth ally . Don't think that useful IMO. You need more survivability from either Life on hit or life regen

i still think using a shield is better for progression...
i can clear inferno act 1 using dual wield of course but when you reach act 2, the shield just became so much more important...

what i did was stacking: -
- physical resistance + all resistance then use one with nothing to get my resistance to 700 unbuffed (can be more with some gear swap)... the goal is 1.2k with a barb in the party...
- getting enuff life to 30k (for now as i just started the monk on saturday so kinda undergeared)
- life on hit of at least 700 and some atk speed buff ~15% from my ring
- as much armor as possible lol...
when i solo act 1, i just swap my OH to another weapon...

my build is kinda defensive focus but when i am soloing, i'll get some offensive runes...

basically, i'll use the dodge mantra as a CD to dump my spirit when tanking...

kinda confused which stat to go to for act 3 though as the fireball is able to hit me for like 25k (4 man)
everything on AH is just soooo costly...
