Hi, guys. I just started diablo 3. And i am using monk at the moment. But one thing I really don't know is about the skill upgrade. Can anyone guide me on this? I try to google it, but they just introduce the skill, nothing more. I would like to know whether the skill is like the diablo 2 whereby you cannot unused the skill point and its fixed already? And there are passive skill, active skill and left , right click which those are confusing me at the moment...

oh, read the tutorial messages as they pop up.

in d3, u unlock skills by leveling up, then u choose what skills u want to use.

remember to turn on elective mode.

elective mode? What is that?

No , you learn the skill when you level.

And you unlock runes to customize the skill .

is it possible to unlock all runes once we have reached lvl 60? or we need to be selective?

Monk lvl40 reporting in..so far fire vortex combined with that huge bell really work out for me..defeating butcher at nightmare much2 more easier than normal mode..now already halfway to meet Belial..

Yes , by level 60 will unlock everything but there is a limit of spells you can in a fight , else if you change it halfway there is a cooldown before it's usable .

same same haha.. at first i was finding it a bit difficult when i uses the same skill as normal mode, which is the flying kick that can stun for 1.5secs.. until i changed it to the fire vortex wow damn!! mobs are peanuts however i didnt use the huge bell, i use the roundhouse kick which has 50% to stun enemies.. not so big AOE thou i think i shud try the huge bell

although the fire vortex will quickly drain out the spirit but the skill will recharge back as long as we keep hitting those minions..thats mean it will stay in the fight..good when surrounded by group of minions..if like 3 or 4 tough minions i just use the huge bell..

Anyone has any good builds that can solo Inferno easily?

I actually can solo Inferno now for Act 1 but it takes very long time to kill those elite packs especially if they have really gay abilities like shield or invulnerable minions

yeah will recharge back when everytime u melee attack mobs so quite good now my huge bell seems like not doing substantial damage also leh..

it is so hard to decide what weapon to buy zzz have to buy weapon with dex and vit it is so expensive -- unlike wizard or dh they can ply pure dex and pure int how wonderful . btw what weapon do u guys use in inferno mode

Bro Wizard is unplayable with pure INT in inferno. Just to note

By the way, Monk is pretty sweet man. So fast leveling!

how u guys managed to reach so high dmg
i m in hell mode ... only got 2k dmg and around 27k hp
any pro can enlighten me ?

Hi guys, whats the suitable level for monk to start on nightmare?

i have 6k dps but less than 18k hp hahaha
