I think u can also benefit from a shield that has high block percentage like around 27%.

How much is enough to farm act 3?
Very expensive if I wanna maintain my DPS and bump up my HP/Resist..

I wanna ask, is palamonk the way to go with act 3-4? cos now I am still having a hard finding a good weapon with >800dps and decent LoH (now dual wield with 1.8k LoH)

1.8k LOH.. how about your atk speed?? and dps and others stats.. i think 1.8k LOH is good enuf liao..

your damage reduction and amor is good, LOH try increase to 1k if possible.. if not.. 894 is okay as well..

try to get up to around 700- 800 resistance...
DPS 22k .. consider okay but takes some time to kill act 3 / 4 mobs

and your hp.. .. try up to 30k - 35k...

critical hit chance is good!

HP is abit low like what others say..
try increase attack speed if possible...

Low dps but should be fast attack cos I use main hand a 5xx LoH dagger (650dps only) and offhand a fist with 959LoH (4xx dps, looking for upgrade to at least 700dps)

Get past Magda no sweat just stand there whack her, my 20k health hardly drop to 1/2, most of the time hovering 3/4 bar. Now aiming for more dps while try to push health to 25-30k & maintain 8k armor + 800AR buffed.
Playing with these figures are $ intensive

TQ. I know my resistance is kinda low. That's why I using MANTRA OF HEALING / TIME OF NEED right now.

Guess I have to farm more cause hard to find high resistance + dex + vit below 5m each part.

Still new with monk. Not over a week. I playing with poison resistance cause someone told me ANDARIEL VISAGE is damn good for monk but i end up using something that I got from random drop.

Later I show my gear and please advise.

Oh btw, those 50 poison + 70 resist only have 20~50 dex/vit... those over 100dex/50vit cost 20m above..

the thing that I found with LoH is that you have to stand there and whack the elite or champions to get back health but in Act 3 elite or champion mobs nearly always have molten or plague or desecrator and they take turns casting it (ie if all of them are aggro-ed you can't stay in one spot for more than 2-3 seconds). so if u want to kite u're gonna take hits and if u want to survive hits u should have shield to increase armor and be able to block.

my suggestion is to give it a go with ur dual wield and if u see u cannot kill even when u kite then it's time to look into getting a shield.

I have a 1.2k armor 3.7k 15% block shield but that is solely for farming purpose (due to its 15%MF+15%gf) still looking for a decent 1.5k armor 4.7k 19% block shield.

i'm selling my old fist. 500+ dps, 500+ LoH with a socket. 250gold. put up for sale in AH this morning. Not sure sold d or not.
i also found fist 700+ dps, got vit and dex and a socket. No LoH...


if you wonder. i'm building crit monk, only deal 50k when crit. Gah, i need more good weapon but all selling millions.

There is another route I can go: smith myself the fine exalted dagger +5props (plan dropped from one of my act 1 inferno run). Now gathering the materials and most importantly: $
one shot craft 20pcs and see if it can produce some gooding roll or not.

i see before streaming dual wield monk farming in act 3. LoH 600 only. At least 35-40k unbuff. Dual wield monk is about dps.

Im looking for 800+ DPS sword / fist with 500+ loh and crit damage 45+ and socket.

Bid 20mil on a 800+ DPS fist 832 LOH and crit dmg 61, and when i woke up it was at 45million.

Was wondering how the F**K can us poor people actually bid for that amount.

Im trying to follow uncle flix's stats, unbuff on 45K DPS.

My crit chance is at 28% now crit damage at 234%.

900+ Resist and 7K armor with 37K HP.

Unbuff now at 28K, buff d 32K.

Anyone got cheap weapon to sell?

yesterday was scary like shiat doing a run at act 1 inferno with 2 gang of elites surround me front and back. one with shielding + illusionist and another with arcane enchanted. only thing good is that no dissec no molton no poison. Tight corridor some more until hard to see the arcane laser. I see my health goes red for quite a few times before able to kill them all.

EXACTLY why LoH is NOT the solution.
between 500-1k LoH is the MAX one should go. the rest are better off in either mitigation, dmg or both.

i mean, if the guy is going invuln/shielding, or massive knockback/vortex, how? LoH cant save you as you can hardly land hits out.

you either dispatch them quick enough before they do much harm to you, or you are tough enough that they can barely harm you and slowly wear their hp down, or a balance in between

lol my daibo 1k dps with all the buff can go 100k crit but slow la. LoH also 300 only.

I like duel wield. can see the crit damage toll out like playing RO assassin cross. Numbers all stick together wan.

im on an almost 1.3k dread lance
looks way kewler than a daibo.

that said, just purchased a 1k dps daibo for 200k, lotsa good stat and a socket, gonna see how that scales vs the dreadlance. for now, the dreadlance is by all means owning it. however id reckon things may change with more crit dmg and crit %?

this is mine. i found it. selling it cheap in AH also no people touch. LOL
any good 2handers can easily get very cheap from AH.
