You can manually delete all stuffs. After that do a restart n the system will build back few default files n folders

Most roms will backup to external sdcard. So far I only know cyanogen9 rom defaults backup to internal sdcard. However if I use abyss 4.2 kernel as recovery it will be backup to ext sdcard

Of course there is clockworkmod recovery. It is ver 5.5.0.4

The cwm is more advanced version than 5.0.27

CWM is auto installed with the rom. I am using Cyanogen rom since ver 2 , now on latest build dated 19 May
Don't use Rom manager as is not fully compatible with the G Note

Or download the apk from post #6 but bear in mind it offers only limited functions - just boot to recovery, download and flash kernel only

Actually I am puzzled why some XDA users claim S Note not available in both these roms. It is definitely available in mine when I tested it

Reflash your rom. And this time flash the latest build dated 19 may. Why you still want to install build 7 which is already classified as outdated? Developer clearly mentioned : Experimental builds - DEPRECATED/OUTDATED
These experimental builds are considered outdated/deprecated. Use nightly builds.

How did you installCM9 build 7 in first place? Recommended is from GB build or if moving from another ICS rom, MUST ONLY use Abyss kernel 4.2 to flash it

I forgot you cannot boot to recovery

Try free app : Quick Boot - select Recovery and see whether can boot into recovery

If still cannot, than just reflash the CM9 kernel using Odin In PC

This kernel is problematic with some wifi issues as reported at XDA
Flash back previous kernel

You only use gb kernel in ics rom to use its recovery n you do that in recovery mode. Any gb kernel if boot in ics rom will hang phone

As long as is unofficial kernel or rom flashing in pc with Odin will increase flash counter

Did you try restore it from titanium backup into touchewiz based roms

This I must say is the best rom for those who always wanted a full working tablet mode for the Galaxy Note. It is based on CyanogenMod9 and as usual you will not have the Spen functionality and Smemo, Snote apps

If you are on lpy or lpf rom just flash first abyss 4.2 n use its recovery to flash this rom. Must wipe data n all caches

What rom are you on now
Just use mobile Odin n flash back original kernel that comes with the rom to revive cwm

Do it at own risk
You flash abyss through recovery mode
Don't reboot phone. At advanced select reboot recovery
Wipe data n all caches than only select flash zip file

Just install n test paranoid only. Install it over Alba v2.1
Don't like it as never a fan of tablet mode
