COMING FROM GINGERBREAD / ICS ROMS WITH FULL ROOT GUIDE :
1. Open mobile Odin, select "open file" and choose "N7000XXLPY_N7000OXALPY_N7000XXLPT_HOME.tar.md5" file (IT'S THE SAME OF TMT1.2)

2. select "kernel" and choose CF kernel LPF tar file (IT'S NOT THE SAME OF TMT1.2)

3. select "wipe data and cache", then push "FLASH"
4. after setupwizard, reboot in recovery, do a wipe data / factory reset then flash TMT1.3 FINAL (MD5 67c3c3911ecbcf30f29446ec31f1ff1c)

Hey guys, I am interested in buying a Galaxy Note but don't know what is the difference in warranty between AP and Ori set. Yes I'd read the front page. The AP set warranty is covered by the shop.

My question is, for the ori set when you root you void warranty, does the same rules apply to AP set as well?

ehh?? but then he got his kernel thread in galaxy nexus wor so i tot he ported the ICS version to GalNote. btw how to differentiate whether the kernel is made for GB or ICS? i'm getting confused.

How long does the updating takes? Mine is at the phone saying 'Downloading... Do not turn off target!!' message for almost 30 minutes. Is this normal? inb4 I use Kies to update on stock unrooted 2.3.6...

Thanks, but I think it may not be the case. I did the upgrade earlier via Kies from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6. The downloading of firmware and loading up to the phone is no problem. After that, the phone will automatically boot into 'Downloading... Do not turn off target!!' for few minutes, the restarts... This time, that particular screen is there for a very long time and I'm scared to turn off the phone...

1.Plug in the USB cable and format the damn internal SD card first to get rid of some useless stuffs.
2.Boot into download mode and flash ODEX PRE ROOTED N7000DXLC2 using PC Odin (tick re-partition also to get a clean and fresh state ) to get root and GB stock rom at the same time
3.Use mobile odin to flash to official ICS to maintain my root
