Before you flash the prerooted German ICS , I suggest you read the XDA thread other user comments. Mine was a perfect install without any problems.
Some users run into problems failing to get root . i remember one user here too faced this problems. Especially if you are new to flashing, it is always a good practice to read other users experience and learn how they overcome their issues. Many new users just jump right in flashing and when they get stuck, they panic and start crying SOS !!

And ALWAYS do a nandroid backup of current rom at recovery mode before flashing

Those users who keep asking whether rocket or alba or whatever rom is good or not, I suggest you flash it yourself to determine
Always do a nandroid backup of your present rom so that you can easily restore it back if you are not happy with the new rom
DO NOT ever go and flash any new rom without at least doing a nandroid backup
History has shown and proof many users get stuck in flashing and has to resort to use Odin in PC to flash back their phone to revive it
I have 8 nandroid backup of all the various roms I have tried, all the common kernels ( GB and ICS ), most of the modems and so if I ever get stuck ( which at times I do ), I can easily recover it without needing to use Odin in PC

This is stale news - lah ! This was the notice that caused all the frenzy behind flashing ICS roms

All the latest Touchwiz based ICS roms : MidTeam 1.1, Alba v2, Criskelo V3, Rocket v1 - all comes preinstalled with S Note

My class 10 Sandisk 64GB hits about 11-12 mb/s writing. This is good if you need to write a lot to ext SD card from phone. Example I always write to the ext SDcard practically every day doing my nandroid backups. And the faster writing speeds helps a lot

You can do a nandroid backup from Stunner recovery but any restore can only do thro Abyss 4.2

Samsung apps missing. I just restore it from titanium backup

Abyss is gb kernel while lpy is official ics kernel
Due to possible unsafe nature of lpy kernel not recommended to use it to wipe
This is where you can use abyss to safely wipe data but only use as recovery only. If you are on ics rom using this kernel to wipe n flash only. You cannot reboot phone with this kernel without doing any flash
Phone will hang.

You can only use recovery mode to flash rocket rom

I can hit 90+% deep sleep everytime on all my ics roms including original German build

Sorry I leave it default. Never bother to tinker any stuffs
Have never faced those wakelock issues so often reported by you guys such as GPS, dialer, volume etc

In principle it is safe to flash from abyss 4.2 if you do not mind the extra step

It only wipe data in the hidden 2 GB partition where your apps are installed. All those supporting stuffs such as apps game data, your music, videos, files, navigation data files, dictionary data , etc etc in the viewable 11 GB partition remains intact
