Hey guys, I owned htc desire HD, some of the apps are used to be free. Now I changed to Note, but those apps already charging, is there a way to transfer?

Just download back the apps from Playstore using back your same GMail ID as used in your Desire HD. You will not be charge again if you have originally purchased it from Market/Playstore

Well this safe or unsafe I leave it to each user. There are just too much of such debate just because ONE user kena hardbrick !!!
If you want to do any stuffs using the LPY recovery, than just don't do it. If you want to flash any stuff ( modem, rom, kernel ) than install Abyss Kernel 4.2 first and use its recovery to do it. This is what I has been doing the past few days
One thing is obvious clear ( tested and reported twice here ) the LPY recovery CANNOT be used to restore any rom or even backup - this was reported too by several users at XDA. So in principle use back the GB Abyss Kernel 4.2 - and I have been using it pass few days to backup and restore my various ICS roms from the LPY recovery
Okay..thanks for the explanation and suggestion...... thumbup.gif

You can restore back your apps if you have backup using it either Titanium or MyBackupro or Rom Toolbox or even thro Astro. just copy back this backup folders to the new phone into the respective folders and select restore

The battery drain much more faster by using stock GB.

Anyway to improve? Cos i don't find this problem by using Stunner or German ICS.

Perhaps using different custom GB?
Just a suggestion.

Just sharing on the setting i always used in my htc desire hd, now with galaxy Note,
1) Set brightness to auto.
2) Always switch on Power saving mode even your battery level at 100%.
3) Installed DX battery Booster and set Clean Automatically to 'On'.

Feel free to comment.

To the user who was asking for the Vooder Louder apk : here it is from my box
https://www.box.com/s/5cf2291b69dfb1eda907

I bought this app for my previous SGS II and it works well on the Note. As is a paid app, during launch and mid way it will prompt you for purchase verification. So I dont know whether it will work on your Note - try it anyway

Thanks unc benny, i was the one requesting it.

My setting below.

1) I set my brightness to 15-20% manually instead of using auto brightness.
2) Using Easy Battery Saver app with 'Intelligent Mode'. Which mean when my phone in sleep mode, all 3G data connection/wifi will be closed.
