i dun face this problem upgrading from DHD to Note. I dun think there is free app turn paying when chnaging device.

You can use Titanium Backup to backup from DHD and restore back in Note.

get a "Not enough space" error when i want to paste using the Root Explorer. Tried moving some apps to SD and restart the Note, problem persist. Check my apps setting - still have 518MB free of internal storage - internal storage is 1.5GB used.

Any workaround? Thanks.

done restart and shut down/pull battery/turn on still can't get it to paste into System/apps folder.

could it be that i am using the stock German ICS which is not deodexed?

i can paste it, just not enough space. To double check - i tried pasting another smaller file into the system/app/ folder and it was pasted without any problem.

if you are running any leaked ICS ROM, i think can just flash the German ICS with FULL WIPE with mobile odin. I flashed my Note with Stunner .26.1 straight to German ICS stock with mobile odin and keep root. Thereafter flash the CF-root LPY kernal to get back CWM as advised by uncle Benny. It works perfectly now.

of course NOT!!! Flash Stunner in recovery, NOT by mobile odin.

i never bother to open the bundled earphone of my phones. Got an a-Jay One+ for my Note, superb.

SGD70++ i think, got it from the last PC Fair in Singapore. Got a bluetooth MW600 too but seldom use. Especially in flight, cannot use wireless.

But earlier last month when on board a China Eastern Airline, was told to switch off our phones, not even allowed to use Flight Mode.

hand itchy go flash Alba LPY V2. Flashed directly from German official ICS without wipe - just reboot into recovery and straight flash. Done within 5 mins without a sweat. But really can't see any different.

Good to see RocketROM is going LPY ICS, will definitely try it.

???? The news is dated May 4, it feels like a decade ago in this thread.

if I were you, i will flashed to German LPY ICS first with Mobile Odin and inject everoot/mobile odin. Play with it for a few day then only see any better custom ICS ROM by then. Most of the custom LPY ICS ROMs now are just merely deodexed with some minor tweak.

i think that was class 6. This is the new Class 10.

yes. Actually i have access to a distro, so getting one for myself and thinking of bulking a few to cover the cost of my own.

Got it last week, take photo and post it at my sales thread. Suppose to open it and use in my Note but got a buyer right before that. So have to make a trip to the distro to get another one for myself.

i din know the contacts in Chinese are sorted like that in Samsung. I think for my previous HTC Desire and Desire HD, Chinese contacts are always at the bottom of the list.

Yes, it display correctly in my list with pinyin, 小张 is sorted under X, etc. But I am on ALBA German LPY base custom rom. Gonna flash to HK/TW ROM which has build in Chinese support tonight.

actually can just flash by Mobile Odin, tick Everoot to keep your root, follow Uncle Benny's style.

the feature is good but dunno whether it is practical or not? I mean if it suck battery like vampire, i will rather live without it. But i do looking forward for it to be integrated into Note's custom rom too if the implementation is good.
