For those who wishes to try SNote ( premium app ) on their Touchwiz based Note and do not wish to upgrade to ICS or you are now on Touchwiz based ICS but do not have this app, put the apk file in /system/app folder . Restart phone.  You can use root explorer to do this and select R/W first at top before copy

uncle, is this apk work with ICS only or GB also work?
Because im still on custom GB Rom.. Already put the apk on system/app with rwrr, restart phone but nothing happen.
i think its ICS apk...

Just clear data of playstore at settings/applications . Restart phone
Always work as I have encountered such error messages few times switching roms

In fact many other users at XDA has also confirmed flashing on top of the German build no issue at all. If one worry so much, than flash first Abyss Kernel and use its recovery to flash other ICS roms

Yes, my last Touchwiz based ICS rom is Criskelo V3. Wanted to try Alba v4 and Midnote 1.2 , both download attempts kept broken off mid way !! Tried twice for both . Now downloading latest Kingdroid 1.1

This happen to me when i switch to checkrom. Panic already last night. Reboot 3 times and now back to normal.

If i wish to go back to Litening + speedrom just follow the normal process of wiping and flashing right?

Than select zip

If on gb try cassie lite in my opinion best gb rom

can i jz flash criskelov3 on top of my stunner 26.1 with full wipe? or have to flash the ICS repack first before flashing criskelo?

You can directly flash. Must wipe all caches n data
No need to flash the ics repack

You can always flash the removed apps zip to get back those missing apps
Battery life is acceptable to me but maybe not to you since you say you are power user
I nowadays do not worry about battery as i have 3 extra batteries with me

dead pixel... if i remember correctly, for phone screens... you need more than 1 dead pixel to be entitled to warranty claims. this 'clause' is similar to what you see on LCD screens and TVs.

in fact, i think the clause does mention how dead pixel warranty can be claimed -- line a few in one line, etc...

i could be wrong about this. plus... "asking is free". no harm asking the service centre about this. good luck!
