There is no loyalty in football nowadays , only money . There will never be the like of Buffon and Alessandero , who stayed with the club even it was relegated and scandaled .

and suddenly... god forbid,
he got injured... like wilshere for example...because the record said he is quite injury prone until last year and this half-year.
how would u guys react?

Will stand behind him if the contract he signed is a long one .If it's a short one , that's another story .

That y i said he still got one more season with us. Jus keep him on the current contract n just go win every f***ing cups n league out there next year. Haha

The 'repay him for what he had done for us in the past 8 years' is just a supporting statement that one shouldn't be looking into at all. But since you mentioned it, to say he had been lying on bed for last 8 years is just so unfair to him. Players play, they got injured. If you haven't realized yet, for every single season he played for us, he provided 0.5 goals per appearance ratio. That is like provide one goal every 2 appearance which is good enough for any strikers in the world. provide here of course means score + assist. He is injury prone but that doesn't give us the right to say that he contributed nothing because he had been injured all times. Given him that option, he would like to play every single match for us but that is not the case. Its non optional for him to be lying on bed and so we can't be judging someone's unwilling act. That's why insanity is a defense for murder because its not in the assailant's control. Its not like he wanted to kill.

So for not judging his injury-prone, then we judged on his performance when he is available. Starting from his 3rd season thats 2006-07, stats don't lie that he provided us at least 0.5 goal per game ratio. And for that consistency alone, we should really thank him alot.

Having said all that, again I will mention, I was merely answering a hypothetical question, an 'IF' question if one had forgotten. So the full sentence will be... I don't wish he leaves us so soon, but 'IF' he did, I will wish that he can join Barcelona as its one of his dream to be there besides us.
