Well... Im all in giving rvp the pay raise he deserved. However 180k per week seems astronomical to us. 130k probably stretching it already on our already thinning budget. Aw should let somego like chamakh n arshavin n diaby. Free up the wages. Upgrade youngsters like lansbury, coq n frimpong n ryo. Call me crazy but i think we should retain yossi n offer rvp 150k per week.

But i see what aw is coming from, 1 great season dont mean u entitle a bumper raise however its nice to have a big bonus though.

Hope rvp will sign. U have to remember we got others coming back fom loan like joel campbell n ryo too. Even if he didnt sign, he still got 1season to o. Why dont we make it a farewell season to him n win everything f***ing cup out there...

if RVP dont sign before euro, better let him go quickly. find another player, get the squad ready before start of the season.

hah!
if there is one thing we can learn from this are the victims of small clubs all around the world
those small clubs out there all around the world are the biggest victims in this scenario
all their talent are always snatched by bigger/big clubs
in a way i feel for the fan's and supporters of smaller clubs, they to have ambition
i wait for the day BPL have 20 teams competing for the title...nv gonna happen i guess  laugh.gif

now that sugar daddies came into the picture, Roman and Sheikh
the food chain just got worst
Big clubs can now song lap from other big clubs easily, with show me the money
ask City to offer Barcelona 200m for Messi, of course they won't offer such ridi price
but if they do...i can guarandammtee,Barce will sell Messi

ya and we are becoming like them if the cycle doesnt end sad.gif

I still think RVP is trying to persuade Wenger and the board to invest more. I don't see him leaving the team as his family settled in London for so many years. 130k nowadays is not a big value d. You will probably wow when henry earn this amount but not now considering VP going to contribute his peak to the club. He waited so long but no cups.

in truth 130k is a lot
just because those rich papa at chelsea and city offering 180-200k per week salary to their players
it has become a benchmark for us to do the same, sadly lol

130k per week means he is taking 260k per month after taxes. Which comes to about 3million per year.

Plus bonuses summore.... Huhu

Merely answering the question which started with 'if', secondly Van Persie going to any club other than Barca doesn't make our club any less 'feeding' than to Barca. So if going there one day is his dream, why not repay what he had done for us in the last 8 years. Again if you noticed my sentence started with 'if'.

This is exactly the problem. His contribution for the last 8 years was basically lying down on the treatment bed. People tend to forget that Robin's goalscoring form started only in the middle of last season. Its not like in the past 8 years he's been banging goals and we still end up trophyless. If thats the case he should really really leave...

Michael Owen is currently available on free transfer. He could be a good back for the current strike force
