AFC @ Seksyen 2, Wangsa Maju has broken their promise in broadcasting Arsenal match

Kononnya they thought our match is shown in HD channel. When I told them it's 813 and they verified it, they putar-belit said that they didn't know and earlier the Arsenal Fans Club ppl have already left. Now when I asked the boss to switch to Arsenal match, he said, "Sorry ya, there are already some people sitting here to watch MU & ManC matches. Cannot switch now or else it will be troublesome"

as i suspected.. he purposely kicked Aguero in hope somebody from Man City camp will react to his action, thus even out the sent off. The same tactic he did to Abou and Diaby.

as far i know AW want to keep Rvp but if the boards dont want to help nothing he can do

but but in the last few years we ALWAYS had to rely on one particular player to steer the team forward. The Invincibles were all around squad, each player played their role with no one taking the 'God' role. after that we can see the pattern started to change to one-man team a.k.a. the God role who ends up being snatched away by other teams:

post-Invincibles:
when the Invincibles broke up; Pires, Cole, Vieira, Parlour, Edu, Bergkamp all left the team, we became over reliant on Titi - he's the captain, free kick taker, corner kick taker, penalty taker, top scorer and providing top assists as well

post-Titi:
after Titi left, Wenger started to build new team with new set of players AROUND FABREGAS. the pattern repeated itself - Fabregas became what Henry was except that he scored less (but I think in one season he was our top scorer no? forgot already)

post-Fab:
again, the same thing happened. this time it's RvP. and look where he's (probably) heading now

we don't know what's in Wenger's mind but seeing his actions in the past I think it's not impossible that he is going back to square one and rebuilding the team again should RvP leave, which is really bad for us because if he keeps rebuilding then how the hell is the team supposed to get matured and ready to challenge the Mancs?

Now I’m going to ask this question again; are trophies all what football is about? Is there absolutely nothing else that matters? If that’s the case why are there teams remembered even though they won nothing? The 1974 Holland team comes to mind.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that  Arsenal should not try and win trophies and nor that I want us to stay trophy-less but its high time some people go back and learn the definition of being a football supporter. It is not only celebrating with your team in the good times but also sticking by them in bad phases, giving them SUPPORT when they need it and not acting like complete twats (can I use that Tony?) [yup - Tony] when things are not going your way.

This is just a bad phase and it will pass as the saying goes no matter how long it is there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I’m sure we are going to win trophies in not so distant future but that should not be what support is based on.

Trophies should not be your definition of football but the memories (good and bad) and the experience should. We didn’t win any trophy in the last 7 years but how many times have we been ecstatic due to the results we had? How many times have we been so happy that even not winning a trophy didn’t matter?

If football was all about trophies then perhaps Kenny Dalglish would have a job today.

Yes, and no.

Yes, because we would stand a higher chance of winning it compared to the CL; no, because the money pool in CL is still bigger and we need the cash to compete with the sugar daddy clubs. As noted in one of the articles I posted few days ago from 7amkickoff, failing to qualify for CL pretty much equals relegation for us in financial terms and it would be an arduous task to get back into it.

Goodbye Almunia. There has been good times and bad times, I'd prefer to remember the good ones. Good luck, and hopefully you don't play for another English club. Ex-gunners usually perform well against us for some reason.

 

Guys anyone know what match was this and where was it from where Van Persie do this after scoring a goal. basically after scoring he kneel drag on the field and kiss both his hands followed by waving his hands as seen in pic and shouts YEAAHH!!1! I just thought it's the coolest celebration after a goal. It can also be seen in Arsenal World before the end of the show, unfortunately i can't find it in youtube.

12 matches? Should make it as 12 league matches. Good for him adn teach him a lesson, furthermore those he assaulted was his former team's players... attempted to bring some of their players down too. But meh, he doesn't seem to learn from any of his lesson though.
