“I think if you look at the season as a whole, we lost only two of the last 16 games and created a fantastic run. In the end we finished with 70 points, which is respectable, and we qualify for the Champions League for the 15th consecutive year. Of course we are very proud of that, especially this season having started where we started. We had problems getting over the line and you could see that again today.”

No doubt after their winning, City will splash their cash to sign any of top scouted players around the world. And some of the best players out there will think 'money first, football later'.
With the power of their money, we will have to rely on the player himself. Join us because of our playing style, or leave us. Can't wait for the transfer windows to be opened |

QUOTE(smellyfish @ May 14 2012, 01:42 AM) “I think if you look at the season as a whole, we lost only two of the last 16 games and created a fantastic run. Look at this stats:— Arsene Wenger on sealing third place Goals scored: Man City 93 Man Utd 89 Arsenal 74 Spu*s 66 Goals against: Man City 29 Man Utd 33 Everton 40 Liverpool 40 Spu*s 41 Chelsea 46 Sunderland 46 Arsenal 49 Newcastle 51 Attacking-wise, we are third in the league, just behind MU Defensive-wise...just look at the stats and all the goals we conceded against the smaller teams and I believe this situation has not changed much since 4-5 seasons ago, with the exception on 07-08 season when we nearly there before everyone screwed it up after the Eduardo incident |

WHOOOOO!!!
WHAT A SEASON! City deserve to win the title, simply because they were the best. Man U's just not good enough, which is evident by their Champs League performance. Arsenal still makes it into the top 4. Credit to Wenger for his consistency, but an overhaul is still needed to challenge for the title/Europe. Chelsea are getting old. But when push comes to shove, they've still got the goods to make the Champs League Final. Liverpool still have their pride for winning the Carling Cup, their only saving grace for having one of the worst home forms of the league. |

"We'll sit down next week. Arsenal is a massive club, whatever happens I'll always love this club." RVP
This quote of RVP is like saying i m 70-30 will leave this club, whatever happen i'll always love this club!! I dont think he really show the Love, true gunner never think want to leave this club until they prove their self, like Thiery Henry. Sigh.... |

ok, finally understand the qualification rules after looking at the qualification table in the appendix of the rule book. there will be 22 teams for automatic qualification including the title holder. means, from England, there will be 3 spots from the BPL and another if Chelsea win the CL. so, yea, we are indeed safe.
but no matter what, I WON'T BE SUPPORTING CHELSEA FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. |

I'm gonna miss Yossi, his attitude, work rate and performances in the last few games has really grown on me. He is only on loan but I felt he was our MOTM in arguably one of our most important games of the season today and the hunger and desire he has shown really speaks volumes. What an absolute professional.
I personally don't mind if we sign him on a permanent basis but my gut feeling tells me Arsene won't with the Ox expected to play a bigger role next season and the return of Miyaichi. All the best in the future for Yossi and I hope he leaves the Russian mob so that he could get the regular football he deserves. |
