I would like to thank Yossi for his contributions. What an outstanding professional. He was only on loan but he showed way more hunger and passion today than most.

QUOTE(lok3i @ May 14 2012, 01:20 AM) So changing topic now to how long since Arsenal won as a whole as opposed to how many trophies Cesc, Nasri and Clichy won since leaving Arsenal from that pathetic troll attempt of yours. Well done son. Topic changed. You win. Congrats. Now go home and suck on some mommas milk. |

I'm gonna miss Yossi, his attitude, work rate and performances in the last few games has really grown on me. He is only on loan but I felt he was our MOTM in arguably one of our most important games of the season today and the hunger and desire he has shown really speaks volumes. What an absolute professional.
I personally don't mind if we sign him on a permanent basis but my gut feeling tells me Arsene won't with the Ox expected to play a bigger role next season and the return of Miyaichi. All the best in the future for Yossi and I hope he leaves the Russian mob so that he could get the regular football he deserves. |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ May 14 2012, 12:53 PM) Joey Barton twitter: Abou and Diaby? =.=Can do nothing but apologise to the players and the fans. Still don't think its a sending off. Tried to take 1 of their players with me.... as i suspected.. he purposely kicked Aguero in hope somebody from Man City camp will react to his action, thus even out the sent off. The same tactic he did to Abou and Diaby. |

Lol what a joke, this further proves the CL as a lottery competition. Battered in both legs of the semis and in the finals and still win it.

Watched the England game partly due to my curiosity on how good Eden Hazard is and my was he awful. I don't know if its just one game but I wouldn't pay 10m for him never mind the 32m Chelsea forked out. Oh well only time will tell I guess.

QUOTE(Breaktru @ Jun 4 2012, 12:58 AM) If it mean 6 Mil to keep RVP , I don't care ! Get him please Wenger . Besides , he play wide and definitely better than most of our wide option . Linked well with RVP last night too in Holland team . Sorry I don't think so. How do you know he is better than what we have from the limited game time you have seen? He hasn't played all that much for Barca so the jury is still out on how good he exactly is and if you wanna talk about his time in PSV, save it as its no secret to how crap the Dutch league is. Moreover his chronic knee problem will be quite a gamble. 80k a week for another sick note? Thanks but no thanks. This post has been edited by sigheart: Jun 4 2012, 01:28 AM |

QUOTE(Breaktru @ Jun 4 2012, 11:19 AM) Say , if he(Affelay) is brought in and RVP instantly decided to stay , all worth it , no ? Its funny that you label those you listed deadwood and then go on to say that you don't mind paying 6 mill for Afellay and then 80k per week to his bank account to do nothing. Doesn't that mean we are just replacing deadwood with another deadwood? lolBtw , 80k is peanut . Chamakh , Diaby , Arshavin and Denilson to a certain extent earn around 60-80k and still in our squad . Point being ? Clear this deadwood and we can afford Affelay , who cares if he even starts at all , as long as RVP stay . RVP had stated before he would like Affelay to be in Arsenal . If RVP stays then great, if he goes then so be it. No player is bigger than the club. Players come and go. If the manager and the club is going to yield to RVP's every demand as though he is the owner of the club then that is an even bigger and more serious problem than losing the player himself. |

QUOTE(Breaktru @ Jun 4 2012, 03:37 PM) Regarding Affelay , he won't be entirely benched . He is young and plenty of room for improvement , so automatically he is not deadwood yet . 6m could be a good gamble , if he linked well with RVP , that is a bonus . Oh yes Afellay is young, he is 26 years old, plenty of room for improvement, so happens Diaby, 26 years old as well and Denilson, 24 are also young and have room for improvement. So how is Diaby and Denilson considered automatic deadwood here when they coincidentally are "young" and have room for improvement just like Afellay? Cannot brain that bolded sentence brother.Player bigger than club issue ? Currently in our club state , I do hope this is the case . Because the board screwed up . We had never replace our star players , take Nasri and Cesc for example . If RVP leave , dream on , we will just get some nobody as replacement and the club continues on a stalemate , while other club improves . RVP demand has good intent . He wants the club to get more proper signing as a reason to stay , to be able to really compete . In an ideal world situation , Arsenal brought in Affelay , and a few more qualities , RVP happy and stay . Us as fans would be happy too , no ? Or you would like us to sell RVP , keep the same deadwood and crooks , and continues on with top 4 aim . You talk about how we haven't replaced so-called "star" players like Nasri and Cesc yet you would rather sign Afellay and be patient with his development rather than use the money for an established name already at his peak. Aren't we going back to square one bringing in players that still needs development and not immediate replacements for our 2 departed star players which you have been screwing the Arsenal board about? Also FYI we finished a place higher with more points this season without replacing our so-called star duo than we did last year when we had both. Fake Ronaldo was perhaps the best player on the planet bar Messi up till 2009, he left and Man Utd still won a title and has not finished lower than second since and should have walked the league title this year again had it not been for those Arabs down the street. Don't even start by arguing the likes of Antonio Valencia etc bought with the Ronaldo money was even as remotely as good as him yet they continue to do well. I've seen the very best from Arsenal come and go for the past 15 years supporting yet we have still been arguably the most successful since the introduction of the EPL apart from Man Utd. I have seen Ian Wright go, Anelka go, Seaman go, Mr Arsenal himself Tony Adams go, Bergkamp go, Pires go, Vieira go, even our greatest player of all time Henry go, yet NONE of them were bigger than the club and we didn't get relegated at all in those subsequent years that they left did we? |

Lol the Dutch have good players but an absolute joke of a team. Anyway, any coach that plays De Jong and Van Bommel on the same team deserves the sack.

QUOTE(undentifyxd @ Jun 14 2012, 11:40 PM) Beandy must be loving it. This is what the lack of Champions League football can do to you. It can destroy teams. Oh the irony when he said he didn't care if the Spuds qualify for the UCL or not and supported Chelsea to win the UCL last time |
