QUOTE(one leg kicking @ Dec 6 2012, 08:51 AM) Where you guys check? I saw I've been credited with RM24.25 but I can't see any details of my transaction. And another thing, I've been given less of the amount. I pay mine the following way all through the online banking July RM80 (though OCBC savings account) - Card not approve yet Aug RM85 (through OCBC Credit card) Sep RM400 (through OCBC Credit card) I should have RM48.25 instead. But now I only see they charged my Aug and Sep rebates with 5% each only. Hence the amount is that. I called the OCBC CS before this and was told I'm eligible for the additional 5% (on top of the 5% rebate) for final month. I don't see my 1st month rebate as well |

I don't see my 1st month rebate as well You only got Aug = RM85 * 5% = RM4.25 Sep = RM400 * 5% = RM20 total = RM24.25. Think you need to call them and point out your July transaction. Sorry I don't recall the T&C so not too sure whether Savings Account is eligible, but please check with them and point out the calculation. Basically if you don't get a bonus for July, you won't be eligible for the additional bonus in Sep This post has been edited by zenquix: Dec 6 2012, 11:29 AM |

QUOTE(zenquix @ Dec 6 2012, 11:28 AM) \\ In the first place I'm not entitled to any rebates if I didn't pay my bills for that particular 3 months in a row for the additional rebate. The calculation from zenquix shows that you didn't get additional 5% bonus for Sep... that means the payment made in July didn't count. Now I'm given the rebate but not the full one. You get rebates for the months you participate in.Only the additional 5% paid in Sep requires you to have made payment for all 3 months. As per my calculation, you did not get any rebate in July, hence you did not qualify for additional 5% in Sep. You would still get the 5% in Aug and the 5% in Sep. The promo was 5% - July 5% - Aug 5% + 5% - Sep you missed the ones in bold |

Applied credit card online => Rejected => Write in to appeal decision based on OCBC's CS recommendation => OCBC called HR to verify my employment => Received letter from OCBC rejecting my application again.

Mind your language. I did specify my scenario properly. I did check my saving acc which didn't credit my money (should have RM4 for the RM80 I paid). as for whether u r eligible to get the additional 5% on sept, that i dunno la..i think the system wun be so "intelligent" to check both acc is the same person...u might need to argue a bit on it.. I have confirm with the CS and was told I was eligible for the additional 5% if I do it this way. Hence only I proceed paying the next 2 months by CC instead, or else I would have gone for savings. I'm not that dumb either as I can calculate my cash back. I will call the CS after this to confirm, I have records anyway to show that I was told this way. Anyway I posted here to give you all insight in case anyone did the same. ADDED : I only got my OCBC Titanium during Aug because they process my application slow. It's not I careless and check the wrong side. Please don't assume just because I'm with a newbie tag This post has been edited by Devil4life: Dec 6 2012, 03:32 PM |
