firstly you need to know that your's G or non g..

second, no need to flash to ics, can straight go cm9
*
Mine is g. Last night updated it to stock ics via odin after 2 times failing with kies.

So right now how do i proceed with flashing cm9? 1st timer here on android...

The firmware for Malaysia is a non-wipe firmware. It'll not wipe your data. But to be on the safe side, be sure to have a backup handy if anything goes wrong.

You can refer to this link for instructions:
http://www.littledoremi.com/official-malay...i-i9100-i9100g/

Apps, SMS, logs won't be gone for a non-wipe firmware, but if you want to backup, use Titanium Backup (root needed) or MyBackup (7days trial). Both can be obtained from Google Play Store/Market.

It's still convenient. When you activated your keyboard, you can see the keyboard sign on the status bar. Scroll it down and press it you can customize the input language.
*
Ya still ok. tongue.gif
But I think Samsung still has to fix some bugs, sometimes when I press an option or key, I get slow response, it will only show out after few seconds.
