Hi! I've been using my SGS2 (G) for about a month I think. Bought for RM1520 from Fotomiami before SGS3 officially announced.

Anyway I just wanna ask does anyone here have problems playing Flash video in the stock browser? With my phone any Flash video sure crash the browser... Looks like the player loads and Flash is running, but when start to load the video - crash sad.gif

Stock OS 2.3.6.

Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Uninstall latest version of flash player and use default stock version.

For those people who still have problem with G version, please try these actions:
1. Settings > Location > untick Use Wireless Network
2. Uninstall the updates of Adore Flash Player. Use the default version.
3. Use another good web browser (not sure about this, but I am certain that original browser is buggy and is the cause)

I have done the first and second steps two weeks ago. Now I didn't face hang issue or camera fc issues. Current using original browser and sometimes it hangs and, if lucky, a fc massage will pop out.

AND, I am quite hate those people who felt like, all problems only comes from G version, blah blah blah...

Edit: Please don't let your phone suffer with those useless apps too. Those people who use pirated apps and markets please, STOP!

I asked them, they said "NO", I didn't bother to ask why.

I felt like they don't know too. They only obey the instructions from the base company only. tongue.gif

When you deal with Samseng, this is what you'll get. Maybe we need to wear blue shirts with slogan ICS 4.0.4 outside their Samseng Plaza.

Good idea. I would like to support this.

@cho for camera failed, try to off "Use wireless network" in Settings>Location.
Then don't switch on GPS frequently unless you need to use it.

Maybe Samsung is planning to ICS together with G version...
If this is the plan, I assume that we need to wait for 2 more months.

ICS generally do not need Adobe Flash Player? The update removed this app and the browser linked the on web videos to YouTube app.

Yup. But no need actually. The update will not remove anything...

Shit, I just had a quick hands on with SGS3 in Maxis Centre, The Gardens. The phone is on ICS. But their interface is different from our SGS2 ICS UI. They have a tablet interface. Damn Samsung!!!!!!!

Argghhhh....

Plus, something not right with image viewing on ICS.

Example:
Put a very high resolution picture in SG2. Next, open that picture.
Then, try to zoom in and you will notice the serious pixelation issue even though it is not zoomed in to max yet.
*

This is GPU problem I think? Does non-g version have this issue?
