Farnell is near jalan 222.... food court/proton edar/bsa wheels road...

most of the product ARE READY STOCK.... but you refer to the website first whether they have it in stock...

total price are all listed, and if your item is ready stock, just go their office (ground floor)/warehouse (2nd floor), and place order there... take about 15 mins to get things ready...

I like their service (although abit xpensive) bcoz you can find datasheet to the product as well they carry most product that you can't find in jalan pasar...

You mean if stated in their web site it is in stock, means they have them already in their warehouse and I don't need to wait? Why that sales girl didnt even check if my stuff was available and just say that I need to wait 4 to 5 working days to collect any suff if I wanted to buy.Eventhough my stuff was available when I checked through their web sites...Hmm maybe iI'll go check again today.

Try Farnell and RS. They are quite reliable.

Did you connect all the wires properly.. 7 segment display will roughly use only about 0.02 till 0.1 amp provided you connected correctly. Depends on the circuit also. If bigger circuit will use more amp. But usually very little amp only. You can use DC chopper circuits / analog power supply. Analog power supply is mostly using 7805,7809,7812 and 7824. For my final year thesis, I designed DC chopper circuits for use in motor / etc. Quite fun.. Very easy provided you have good books. Buy India books. They provide you with all the revelent calculations so that you don't have to crack your head during the calculation parts.

Hehe I think I connected the wires the wrong way..Now I manage to get the 5v by supplying 9v bat. Thnx guys smile.gif

if it says in website that its in stock, 99% it will be there, coz the website are updated realtime with their database...

if the girl simply say wait 4 - 5 days without looking at the screen, then you've been DUPED...

currently i bought electronic component from jln pasar area, but sometimes component not available. especially the exotic component. so often go back home with empty hand and less petrol in car tank.

just wondering, any local company sell their electronic component online. I cant seems to find any, RS and Farnell only provide online catalogs but you to go to their warehouse to purchased their product.

any ideas,?

ermmmmm how to say ermmm.....
1) use google earth biggrin.gif
2) take star LRT, drop at PUDU station. Gets out from the station, go straight until you reach the main road(100 meters away from the station). Turn left and go straight again. You will be walking along the main road (passes a crossroad with traffic light) Do not make any left or right turn along the way, even at the crossroad. You will eventually gets to the place so called Jalan Pasar. You will know tht you are there when you see those electronics shops :)lot of em.

whistling.gif hope this helps but I am really weak in giving directions...sorry ya rolleyes.gif

Yes... That's true... But I can't find in local market... but not sure Jalan Pasar got or not... I wish to get the following parts:

VNH2SP30 & VNH3SP30 frm ST Microelectronics

Any chance that you can find them in M'sia? Or, do you help customer to get parts from Digi-Key? Thanks.

You can try using SMD type of LEDs...
