Good evening everybody.

If any of you here applied or received an interview/employment offer from DF ELECTRONIC SDN BHD KAJANG, please reconsider and DO NOT accept any of those offers !

Their job advertisement is too good to be true, and their true offers are these - no benefits, no salary increment, no vision/career advancement, very poor management, very poor working environment (crappy office environment with water leaks from roof and rats !), only RM40 for medical claim, and 10 working hours (8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m) a day.

These are the company's website - DF ELECTRONIC SDN BHD and GASS SECURITY SDN BHD.

What does it mean when they reply you with, " We will inform you after we have finalized the department"?

as far as i concern, only the resume is cover by the blue background. the rest is the white one if not mistaken. so you can still proceed with the blue one for job's applicant.

apart from SPM cert, do you still bring along other high school certs and awards for interview for an experienced position? I personally don't think employer cares since its an experienced position not fresh grad, but I could be wrong, anyone mind to correct me?

Hi guys like to pick ut brain

I may get a call from the HR of a OnG company and she says this

'I would like to invite you for a phone interview session to discuss about your background and career interest.'

I know what to say.

Any feedback what not to say? Because I have the habit of being too talkative and complacent during interviews.

Just take it along. While it might not have any bearing on your candidacy, we do take keep employee's qualifications / certs as a record so giving it out the get go makes their job easier.

If it is not required, you won't lose anything anyway.

Nothing too personal. Nothing too theoretical. Nothing correlational. Focus on you and your achievements and tangible behaviours with examples.

Write down in bullet points your 'answer template' to keywords that they will be asking and just stick to that. With the bullet points, you just cross out each point as you answer them and stop when it is finished so you won't ramble on or diverge into irrelevant points.

Does being overdressed for an interview send any wrong messages? Had an interview on the company's casual day (I didn't know it was such beforehand), HR director was in polo shirt, I had on jacket and tie :/

No, unless they mentioned specifically for you not to wear anything formal. Remember, dressing up is a sign of respect for the company and the wish to convey an appropriate appearance.

If you feel uncomfortable, you could also ask if you can take the jacket off to be less formal.
