Hi everyone.

Last week I attended interview with Petrofac for graduate trainee program.
It was a 20 minutes interview, with a few question on technical.

And today I received a call again from them, inviting me to come for 2nd interview. I have no idea what to expect in the 2nd interview, no idea what to prepare..

Can anyone advise on this? thanks.

2nd interview is usually a good thing. means they just needed to square off recruiting details such as expected salary , perks, and etc. It's a good thing.

I hope that is the case. Because in the email the HR mentioned it is only a 30 minutes interview.

I just think I should prepare for the worst u know, maybe a presentation or another technical question?(they already asked the technical Q on the 1st interview btw)

But yeah, it's only a 30 minutes interview.I hope u were right...

Hi,everyone!

I attended an interview session with a company. During the session, the interviewer said that the position which I applied for may not suit me but they may have another position for me in their mind. The interviewer said that he will called me back after my interview session but so far,I have not heard from him. Could anyone explain to me what could this means? rclxub.gif Do I called back that person? Thanks for replying.

Well I went for the 2nd interview yesterday, It was just like the 1st 1, only different interviewer. Not really sure what/how is their recruiting process.

Hi all the experts here, if I have decided to take the job offer from company A and I have another interview with company B, is it possible if I reject the interview invitation from company B? This is because I am worry that company B will put no show statustag on my jobstreet acc.

I strongly agree on this especially when you face a female interviewer, they will know.
The best thing is be yourself, answers everything on yourself, and sure you will be passed.

What is the meaning of 'on site interview'? Just receive an invitation from a semicon company. Anyone have any experience on this?

Wait for the interviewer to bring that topic up.

I had two interviews before that the HR promised to call back for the 2nd interview. But they don't. Quite frustrated about that.

OMG OMG OMG.

I'm in a panic mode. I got a 2nd interview coming. The interview will be handled by higher level position in that company. I did ask about what the 2nd interview is from the previous but the answer I got is just to be confident and study about the company.

Any more tips? @@

To get my current job, during the interview, I said "Your company has better offer and I can see my career progression here"
Dun know right or not, but I landed the job. So yeah rclxms.gif

Just call them and give them a reason, then kindly reject thier interview in jobstreet with a reason. Dont burn your bridges. If possible go for the interview for company B and see if they are giving a good career prospect and salary.
