Hi, I just bring my preve to work just now and passing thru smart tunnel. But somehow the boot opened by itself in the midst of driving and the meter  bising2 indicates by boot opened.. once i reached in front of timesquare, a stop aside and close the boot lid. anyone facing the same issue?

so i went to check out my car, this time, it is really mine but queuing up for inspection so tuesday only can get car.

got my number plate also means it is really mine not others ;D

P/S: i also seen many with number plate one or without queuing up for inspection, they said it is new procedure called "pre-delivery" inspection. After inspections from the factory then again inspection mainly the engine part.

A team called CAT, idk what's the full name already tho, LOL, just been there to flash view my car, the SA brought me there cause i really fucuking her all the time with no hesitation and no mercy then she drove me there.

later on i belanja her teh o ais limau at the nearby there so we now peace peace   

just collected my car. I have a few grouses.

1. my chasis is around 1300. feel sluggish wen moving slow. have to tekan paddle to move from idle.
2. d car wen idle to bout 5km/h got some loud vibrating sound. after exceeding 10km/h no more sound. its damn irritating.
3. engine sound kinda loud and all sorta weird sounds comin in except traffic noise.
4. wen braking from bout 40km/h above, got some weird helicopter chopper sound. not so loud but noticable.
5. interior feels large but cheap.
6. gear shift almost no light. Very very dim. only can see 'N'".
7. dashboard hard to close back. damn cheap feeling.

other than that d car feels ok for the price. i somehow feel persona was more responsive and lighter. the point no.2 is damn irritatin and im goin to the service centre to get it sorted out.

When braking from high speed do u feel any vibration. Coz mine got.

im going for point2. its damn loud actually. when i turn the steerin while idle also the sound comes out. sorta like engine rattling. but can feel the brake pad vibrating abit wen the sound comes out. sigh... tmw get it checked.

u can change it,,,just keep the original 1...when shit happen,change back to ori and go sc

Daihatsu is not a partner, it is their parent company. Perodua has no R&D to speak of, all they do is assemble cars for Daihatsu so that they can sell their cars cheap cheap in bolehland.

In short, Perodua is no different than Naza or Simedarby. They dont develop cars, they only put together someone elses car.

This sedan car you speak of? It will be a stripped down version of one of daihatsu or toyotas existing sedan model, only assembled and rebadged here. Imagine perodua vios and you wont be far off.

It is true we are getting outdated tech from perodua and toyota. But i have to admit these japanese have almost bulletproof drivetrains.

One of the reasons why perodua keep outselling potong is the reliability of their cars, and better customer service. The regular joes dont mind buying old tech cars as long as it can keep chugging away with minimal problems.

Yes, they need to improve and its up to all of us to give continuous support and feedback for them to make a change.

No, I'm not asking for proton to use the hack stuff. If the HU system running on Android platform, we can install the `brut' ourself just like installing other apps.

hallo can u  all give a review about sound audio preve..

Just got back from 1k service. SC said they have updated the ECU to Preve latest setting. I complain rain and light sensor keep turning on even though no rain and in bright day light. Solved after updated the ECU. Regarding sluggish at start, feel a slight improvement only. Not much laa..but better than nothing

Used Syntium 800 (10w-40), but SC said next change is after 5k. Is that correct? I though next is 10k.

Regarding the GPS map, maybe White Lighter can put current version on FP for everyone reference. Mine is : Sd2-MC-Proton_MSB_D_2012 v4. Not sure if this is latest version, but maybe others can share theirs and then we can compare.

Also I noticed that my tyre is over infalted,front is 280 kPa vs std 220. Rear also same. I'm thinking they purposely over inflated at stockyard since maybe need to be keep there for long time, and SA forgot to change back to std pressure. So guys, check your tyre pressure after receive car.

The handling is great, steering feels heavy, if you like the light feeling of steering, I would say this car is not for you.

Nvh is good as well, I have friend with civic telling me it's better than his car but he's using low profile tyre. But this is subjective, go try it yourself.

The sluggishness on earlier complain seems to be gone or I'm used to cvt already. But it won't have the initial burst of myvi, having 1.3 ton body does weight it down.

Fc need to wait awhile, I haven't done first service, so maybe ask others is better. So far it's 9.8l/100km, it's ok to me, I never expect it to save fuel at the first place

Things that I don't like, fit n finish is not up to what I expect, some of the finishing could be better IMHO. But do check it out yourself.

Niggling things like engine start from cold start have sounds, gonna rectify it next week.
Paint quality could be better as well.

Overall I'm satisfied
