meh, they just want to share City's success because their club is crap, talk about glory hunters...where is the newcastle fan frm last week? so much crap frm him yet his own team end up 5th laugh.gif

on the team...well I dont know if Fabio heading out on loan will be good for us, good for him no doubt...Evra may be a fit player but he can still be strucked by injuries, just look at Vida...Is Clyne even as good as Fabio? Dont think so...Not confirmed if he is even coming...

I think if SAF is to bring a midfielder in, someone will go..likely Anderson? Berba and Owen leaving should still be fine, since we have Roo, Welbeck, Chicha and Macheda returning

Berbatov is leaving...Owen may be, so this lead 2 slots for backup strikers. Currently we have Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez....plus Macheda. So i think will be enough

as for wingers, we have Nani, Valencia and Young to play with.. rumours that SAF in the market for another winger, so that's complete even without new signing as Park (if he still with us) can be as cover.

for CM, Fletcher return date not confirmed, Anderson fitness always in stake, Cleverley hopefully can fit. Cannot always depends on aging Scholes and Giggs cuz they are not stay there long. This left Carrick the only fit...so CM is the big problems need to solve.

as for centre back...we have Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Rio and Evans...looking at that numbers are really enough

for full back...Fabio loan out full season, left only Evra and Rafael although we know that Jones and Smalling sometimes can play as RB but I prefer them to play at centre instead of rotating them as CB and RB. LB need a good player to challenge Evra cuz this season I saw a bit of declining form from Evra.

we need at least:

compulsory: 1 backup LB, 1-2 center midfield
optional: 1 winger, 1 striker

its not the time to talk about value anymore i reckon (for this coming transfer period), City no doubt will keep on chucking money around again, and that's funny, other teams SHOULD be worry about City coz they can't compete with them on the market, while they have to be scared that City will come and raid their squad...just ask Arsenal fans, they are the only few who didn't troll this thread (i think?)

Yup. with the status of "League Champion", they will spends millions again for the team (as per Mancini, they are still "not good enough")....I know they will be another title challenge team next season.

They will of cos raid all the available good players in the market. I think they will bid whichever players other teams are bidding.

They will splash the money for fun. FA Cup last season, this season League champ, I reckon the boss want CL next season (like how Abramovich wet dream about).

as for the bold part, i reckon another backup RB (natural RB, not make shift RB)

the big difference between City's big spending and our so called big spending is

they can afford to spend 40M on 1 player, pay him 150k weekly wage, and if he fails to deliver, they can just let him rot in the reserve, while they continue to chuck ANOTHER 40M to another player until they find the right mix, WE CAN'T DO THAT

Clyne had played both LB and RB for his current club, so he will be enough for cover i think

Thanks for the wishes.
In the Series A, Juve also did a record unbeaten run into becoming the League Champion. Congrats to Juve, too. rclxms.gif

good league campaign.. normally 89pts will win us the title.. 1-6 thrashing are the different, but i'll always remember the 4-4 draw..

City raising the bar and they deserved the title. they'll getting stronger if they retain Mancini, team harmony, and get rid trouble magneto (Balotelli).. a couple of good signing will make them more equip to defend their title.

poor campaign overall, by our high standard.. we need at least a couple of top CM's, and one more forward, basically to replace Scholes, Giggs and Berbatov. Berbatov, Owen will be gone and probably Pogba too.. Anderson, Cleverley and Fletcher's fitness are always a question marks. our defense will better with fit-again Vidic, with DDG, Smalling, Jones, Evans, the twin will be one year maturer..

the players did their best, but thats not good enough.. we will be bounce. Glory Glory Man Utd..
*
Ya, MU still not good enough. MU lost to ManC twice, 1-6 and 0-1 in 2012 season.
Time for SAF to buy new players while maturing the current "babes".

What a season? QPR almost help us,lolz i guess money does buy you goals. I hope next season we can keep up with them. I am hoping for a good news from SAF,we need new blood,Kagawa looks interesting. I love to see him at OT. We fend off Chelsea why not MC? Our team can do it.
*
MU can also help QPR by loaning them some of the younger players. drool.gif

something comes to mind when we are discussin about injuries > our squad depth. yeah, we can't really buy world class players to be on d bench & get d call only when our 1st 11 players injured, but losin Fletcher for d whole season, while missin anderson & cleverley on & off doesn't really help. thank goodness Carrick stayed fit for most of d season, imagine if we need to depend solely on Scholes to marshal our CM week in & week out...  sweat.gif

also, i noticed that we are lacked of sense of urgency this season, sometimes we tend to sit back & relax when havin a small lead. when Rooney is not on song & frustrated, there is no one stand out & lead d team. we need a game winner pretty badly imo. sad.gif
*
Yes, I agree. Somebody in the mould of Keano who motivate the other players and having a never-say-die attitude. Or some one in the mould of Cantonna, unpredictable but fit like a glove in the team order where everyone respect him for his contribution.

Surprisingly, Chicarito did not played prominently as compared with last season.

I do think that united's squad is good enough, we lost the title through goal difference, winning the same points as City. We did that with a secondary back four that is constantly changing.
*
Agreed to the last sentence.
MU back four was constantly changing due to injuries to players. But still did good compared with the other teams (except ManC)
