If want to argue JT is better than Ferdinand, at least come up with some statistics (tackles per game, blocks per game, foul per games, etc etc). If just by showing video,I also can say Safee Sali is better than Messi by just showing video about all his good side of football.

Terry fast?  Jatuh against Liverpool and Arsenal? While I still believe Terry will go for Euro eventually, and pretty glad because Rio can take his rest, I still believe Rio have so much more to offer. While Terry, like most modern defender attack the ball, Rio stays behind and clear the ball. He has the composure and calmness.

My point is those two were actually perfect partner for England, while it's unfair to leave one behind, it's not healthy to bring someone which have some trouble with his ex teammate and being accused of racism.
