QUOTE(wei @ May 11 2012, 03:45 PM) Eh... just hung up Hyundai Cust Care. Still the same answer, max waiting for my color and my spec is 3 months max. After 2 weeks, my que number only move up 10 slot... Bro Wei confirm hid only void the headlight? Cos I heard dealer say his customer change hid on his sonata few months later his ecu fry and Hyundai doesn't want to replace the ecu under warranty because of electrical prob..One thing they are very clear, any after market mod you do will only void that particular part. Let's say you mod the headlights for LED/HID, headlights warranty will be void. The rest of the car will still covered. |

HID will require a transformer installed.. i went to the accessory and saw it before.
Those good HID will come in full set (with trans) , and still plug into the existing socket. Because HID drains power like mad, might short-circuit if you plug into the conventional halogen socket. Those cheaper HID.. just plug and play |

That is what I've gotten on the phone. But they never say guarantee can claim other parts. As their first reply on mod is: "Hyundai Malaysia does not suggest any kind of modifications."Better call them to ensure on your case. Being in support & repair line of other product (not relate to cars), we usually will trace back the cause. If the cause is some how related to the mod you've done on the unit, manufacturer usually won't honor the warranty. |

I went to see my car today, but not able to drive out cz the whole registration process is not yet done together with the car plate. I will need this 3) rear light missing portion (complaint SD??) solution: can be solve by accessories shop outside without disturbing existing wiring as mentioned in first post. anyone can guide me where to do this and what is the charges? Wanna do it once I got the car next week |
