most of them are related to career n family matter . planning to get married sooner than expected, planning to get professional cert maybe 1 or 2 within 3 years, decided not to showoff , decided to change car within 5/7 years instead of keeping it, n many more...

just to share a story, last week went to kl seeing my sweetheart, test drove elantra 1.8 at glenmarie n feel this is surely be my 1st car, my gf also picked an elantra from a random folded papers (we wrote a list of car which is on our list including elantra, forte, preve, honda, mazda3, inspira, etc)~just for fun

just called hyundai customer service, summary:

-1.8 booking time is 3months
-1.6 2-3months
-hyper silver in production for few 1.8 already but not for 1.6
-150 bookings for hyper silver
-1000++ for creamy white

boring color        anyway, very subjective. hyper silver looks very elegant to me     

Haha, mine was at 26km when I got the car, and I thought I got pawned by SA ... Maybe he used my car for test drive or what. Yours slightly worse case than mine neh.

I am not saying that ppl cannot afford the 30k jump not comparing with other C segment car. If so, Elantra is way out compared with forte and preeve. What I am trying to say is the pricing strategy by SD. We are talking about both cars from hyundai and marketed by SD. For that price as compared with Sonata, you can see that Elantra pricing is grossly overpriced. I like this Elantra when launched in Korea around may 2010 and wanted to buy. But the pricing put me off. Moreover, this is Not the same as the car that won North American car of the year2012 with such lower spec

True. I have been waiting for this car. It took so long to launch here in malaysia. And when the waits over they put inokom badge on its body which seriously turns me off.

I went out shopping and saw hyundai put its elantra so i took opportunity to try and seat in it. It was a disappointment. It doesnt have wow factor as went i tried naza forte 6speed before. Upon entering forte and i just awe to see its generous and luxurious offering (compare to my vios). Elantra dont have that. It just feel empty. The only good thing is its exterior.

I wont buy it. and i agree SD kills elantra.

I remembered someone mentioned about water pouring sound.

I heard it too this few days, especially when entering a corner or curve. It sounds like water running thru longkang. Not sure where the sound come from, either near sunroof or rear left hand seat. Only happened when cold start in the morning though.

Anyone else experienced or knew what's the sound ?

wow so fast change spark plug? how many k service are u doing? change to ngk iridium spark plug then. i use it before and can last 60k

then dont go to 3s SC go to those smaller ones.they will let u use yr own stuffs.spark plug can do outside. in fact i dont know why nobody talks abt changing spark plug, adding grounding and using better air filter like k&n. all these will boost yr car performance thus improve yr fc

I think what is mean the car has done 900+km on a few fuel up.
Not on 1 full tank.
