i recently went and see a E90 Bmw 320i that was new. seriously after looking at the dash i really cant see why would anyone pay 240+k for such a car when we can get a HE at half the price. what do you get other than you are driving a BMW? at least i cant see the logic behind it.

Believe me when i say it wont be as 'JOY'ful as you think.imagine sulking everyday looking at the lousy dash and paying arms and legs just to keep the car running.

I went to do my 1st service today and the damage was 132. imagine in a BMW its 1.5k average!! meaning every time you change engine oil in the bm you can buy 4 new tires, or 8-9 times service on the HE. this is assuming it dont give you problems.

from these few days i learn that the name and the exterior of a car is not as important as the interior. nothing beats a smile when you sit in the driver seat looking at your car, enjoying every bit of it. why spend so much for people to see?

T,H, and N was off my list a few months back when i decided to buy the HE. now even the creme de la creme is falling off the list FAST.

HE has just raised the local car expectation standards so high that it would take time for alternatives to start popping up.

bro dont even get me started on the stupid camry. so many years still the same old 4 speeder. if you can afford the 2.5, why go for the camry in the first place?

those who think of resale value (let me be very frank) have you ever see a model that you can make a profit from? the value of the car starts to depreciate as it leaves the assembly line. and with 3300 bookings in 2.5 months, tell me which non national car can beat that? how do you know the 2nd hand value will not be good?

A normal service for E90 320i costs RM1.5k each time? Care to share the breakdown of the costs or how you derive the number? Well I do agree that the HE a nice ride (sis just got one herself) but to mislead others on maintaining costs for other brands is not exactly the correct thing to do?

Anyway, just to share where to repair your rims.

- Heap Soon, Segambut
- Wan Shing, Chow Sow Lin
- Hua Hin, off Jln Sg Besi
- Wheels Recon, Bdr Sri Damansara

Repairs/refurb of each rim costs anything from RM30 to RM100 depends on condition. Recently did a total refurb for a 18" costs only RM450.

Wah, ur 1.8 also have noisy boot sound rclxub.gif ? However, dont think it is a serious problem though.. Have to admit that 1.8 dual zone auto climate aircone is a little bit noisier than 1.6 one.

i am not sure how the figure is derived but it was given by the BMW SA. but i think it would cost that much. a special calibrator is needed every time you service as there is a service reminder on the car. a freaking annoying thing to have in a car.

I know they are different segments, if money was no object of coz i can compare civic/altis with elantra.

I'm comparing based on budget of below 100k with my limited knowledge on cars.

Trust me bro, I'd been there. I was supposed to get the STD spec 1.6 HE which is around 91,888. And I think City FL is around the same price if I am not mistaken. But decided to go with the HS 1.6 since the additional 5K doesn't really affect that much on your monthly installment (RM10+ or less) and most importantly my banker friend told me bank do not see any much diff with that 5K different in determining whether we eligible or not. Unless the diff is 10K and more.

So like they said the rest is history and I am now very satisfied with my HE like the rest of the owners in here.
Sorry if I'd sounded a bit aggressive previously. A bit too excited when people compare H&T with HE, hope u understand bro. biggrin.gif

Hope that you decide to get HE at the end and join this big family icon_rolleyes.gif

Mine all 4 rims scratched after getting the car less than 1 month. Not used to low profile tyre i guess. All kena when parking at my usual happy hour place. That's the main reason why i bought the TUIX rim. Now very careful when parking my car. tongue.gif

Force yourself to be careful with those nice Tuix rims hor~~ Nice bro thumbup.gif
