This is so confusing, I contacted their support and they told me Malaysian will not be able to use EU copy to play.

don't be confused... alex82 said he will try again only.. my guess is that the restriction is not applicable during beta, but will be take place when the game launched...

I'm submitting another ticket for this, just to be clear. Heck, if can buy EU copy, can save a lot.

And Arena net will reply to you the same thing, you need to get NA copy. Maybe they will implement the region lock when the game is release. Since it was Arena net themself that mention there is region lock, so yeah just choose wisely if you want to take the risk.

The uncertainty is killing me, there's no solid proof of everything we're talking about here. They just says that we have to use NA version but then there's one guy here claims that he was able to login using EU copy from Malaysia.

The solid proof is in GW2 official FAQs, yes people has mention they can login using EU account from Msia, but we do not know if it's because Arena net haven't implement the region lock for the beta.

.. take ANet's word...like i said, what alex82 experience may be during beta only, and they will most likely enforce the region lock when the game launch.. it is ANet's game, so follow their instruction...

just buy N/A copy to be safe, it still worth the extra RM50 you paid for if you love the game smile.gif

Interesting, will check out the skills for sword/danger, now if only they have scimitar, then it's like Drizzt Do'Urden lol.
I prefer longbow for the range, but the only multi target skill is barrage though.
*
Ranged Multi-Target, AFAIK, is only Axe atm. Auto-Attack (1) is a ricochet between 3 enemies, (2) is an AoE Bleed, (3) is a single target chill, (4) is a straight line, (5) is your projectile defense block.

Sword MH to be honest, that made it so much fun. Great animation for (1), (2) is a leap back, followed by another leap back into the enemy, and cripple. (3) is move behind your enemy and poison them. Pity we couldn't dual-wield sword though!

I think I'm gonna stick with shortbow... needs more manuvering, but if you can stack bleed on them, it's nice thing to have.

Btw, where do you find other type of pets huh? Guildie says you need to find the ones tagged "juvenile", but didn't find them as I go. Stick with cat and inflict vulnerability aahahaha.

Definitely need to try out sword ranger when it's release, the poison from dagger seems nice.

I found a juvenile leopard at the leopard spirit area, that's the only one I saw that can be tame. Probably different area will have other pets for you to tame. It's nice that you can switch pet on the fly.

For that to happen, many players need to do some upgrading for just wanting to play the game. Same thing happened to me with Final Fantasy XIV, which, made me disappointed. Great graphics, boring gameplay. Personal opinion tongue.gif
