i think it goes up and down depending on player supply and demand.

I think the price of gem is floating depends on total money in whole world or in market. When players getting richer, gem price will be higher. Maybe after 1 year 100 gem = 100 gold .

Damage on test dummies and on players should be similar, as long as they do not have any damage reduction stuff

After the first beta week. I have decided to become Elementalist. This test been playing pvp n WvWvW its nice. Looking forward on next beta week.

Warrior and other melee classes usually get blame, oi bang the wall la..

warrior and guardian is cannon fodder for the defenders lol

guardians are really good if u are on the defensive side (mace + shield)...
it really help ur team a lot when u time all ur skills right...
i expect it more for premade setup...

personally i am enjoying ranger a lot but i jz hate the pet AI atm >.<
if the pet is fixed then i would love it considering i am a WL in WAR back then...
melee + pet is always awesome =)

i am pretty much bored of elementalist, mostly due to the lack of weapon swap...
reaching lvl 30, it do have some decent burst (scepter + dagger combo) and great utility...

i felt kinda naked without unlocking full skill bar and traits and armor and weapons and runes and sigils etc so i did not play much in world vs world vs world.

played more of competitive pvp.

also, why it is blue people vs red people now?

last time wear colored cloaks only mar. now look like toy soldiers.

haha well my interest is in WvWvW. thats where the fun is for me. WvWvW requires more brains if you have a guild of 15 or more players who work together.

well WvWvW does feel like a very huge tf2 server with hundreds of players in it.
to me i think WvWvW requires numbers. which ever side has bigger numbers will win the battles.

i think i will only play WvWvW in launch when the fps is fixed i.e. can get 60 fps with hundreds of players and spells effects on the screen.

for the following beta weekends events i will play competitive pvp to try out what builds works for me.

Not necessary. Small groups can organized faster and do hit and run on keeps that are undefended. If defended, zergs will die to those f***ing arrow carts anyway. Big numbers don't help.

Haven't unlock weapons and traits? o.O means you didn't pve at all. I hit 21 on my mesmer. with 11 points to play with. But you level VERYYY fast if you follow the zerg and cap stuff. After level 12 or so, I just joined WvW primetime oceanic (meaning americans sleeping and we cap the whole map) and hit 18-19 in 1 day.

got pve, not much. finished personal story demo, was about level 17 at end of beta weekend event.

did not WvWvW much though.

i enjoy the higher, stable fps in remote pve areas and in competitive pvp.

WvWvW = 10 - 15 fps for me.

There are archer NPCs at certain places in WvW can one shot anyone in sight... =/ The only way is to zerg them...
Attacking certain fortress or whatever they are called can be pain in the arse... especially those with high elevations (stairs, etc) to reach the door...

Haha, yes unofficial GW2 division with 15 strong men currently . Using TS3 for comms and playing squad system for party (joking).

Wow...thats some pretty harsh FPS. I can get abt 40 fps in WvW though. WvW is awesomely fun provided you got friends on a decent VOIP. MBT had abt 10+ during the BWE, so we actually went all out in WvW, especially since we have our own VOIP server(TS3).

Using siege etc. requires coordination and teamwork. Numbers alone are not enough actually. 5 men can hold an entire keep being raided by 20 with proper teamwork. Eg: Focus fire etc.

You are free to join us next time . We should combine those remaining in LYN to make a nice 30 man army

BWE GW2 clients are CPU-bound atm, if your CPU is not powerful enough, you won't get as good a FPS. My i5 2500k @ stock + high priority GW2.exe I can get pretty much smooth 50-60fps in most areas... around 40fps in WvWvW/ high traffic areas.
