One thing I hate about Malaysian's driving, is that they dont respect the road users.

I normally like to keep 1 car distance away from the car infront.

I can only assume you got poor "depth perception". 1 car distance away is still dangerous at high speed. Unless your car is a pimped up limo 50 feet long.

You'll grow wings and float up to the cloud if the car in front of your slame the brakes if you are "merely" 1 car gap behind.

Heavy vehicle should be off the road during peak hour.

There are already many cases involving heavy vehicle's brake failure that killed many of the innocent road users.

For some drivers in Klang Valley, it is their bad habit of driving keeping close to the car front. I always try to keep a distance to the front car and unfortunately some other car will then overtake me then sneak into my front, resulting me have to slow down a little bit to keep the distance farer a little again.

Added on May 2, 2012, 2:01 pmI would like to urge each of us to report whatever vehicles especially Lorries, Buses and Taxis to LPKP.

We know that these are the few culprits on the road that are driving like mad cows.

We need to work hand-in-hand and report these people to the authority. We can do our part to keep our road safe.

Remember, safety is our responsibility.

It is good if we can spread this awareness out.

The problem is they drive like their father's road

So are we just gonna keep quiet and allow it?

We have gotta do 1 our part, 1 complain may not be enough but if we work hand in hand. The same reckless driver will sure to get not only one complaint.

We can do our part to first tackle the lorry and public vehicles.

Back on the private vehicle like u and me, anyone has any idea we as road users can fully maximize our rights to contribute to road safety?

Well the beauty of it, is i dont drive at 200 kmph.

At about 90 to 100 kmph, a car length is more that sufficient.

I do mean a large camry or so, thats a car length.

Not some small ass hatchback tongue.gif.

It is still dangerous.....

Do always take note of other unexpected factors.

- Front car brake lamp not working
- Delay in response
- Slippery road

Front car sees the front situation and respond earlier than you do.... What he sees infront is faster than you for 0.5 second and to activate your response may take another 0.5 second

1 second of delay can kill you!

If brake lamp is not working and it further delay your response.

Please drive safe and keep some good distance away, after all you have nothing to lose.

Do have some consideration for the car in front of you.

It isn't a comfortable feeling with someone following so closely at so high speed.

just wondering, if speed limit is 110, and the person on the right lane drives 110. do i have the right to overtake ?
*
overtake from the left, but do it fast.

sometimes i like cruising on left lane @ exactly 110kmh, and encounter some road hoggers driving slower than me at right lane.......and still cruise pass them within speed limit.

mindfuk, feels like driving in the US.
