How many people actually goes into SetiaWalk at peak hours 6-7pm ?
They should move the Bus/Taxi stand away.

i agree, have to relocate the damn bus stop and taxi stand. I find the entrances and exits to and fro setiawalk a bit messy

The bus stand propose to move into the persiaran wawasan. But wawasan committee protest and not agree. They already send a letter protest to mpsj and YB.

" We, Action Committee against SetiaWalk Traffic would like to inform that Setia will be building a U shape flyover directly to SetiaWalk from April 2013. We are please to hear that however we do not agree with the relocation of existing bus stop to Persiaran Wawasan from LDP inner road. By doing this, the authority is just transfering the problem from LDP to Persiaran Wawasan which is just a 2 lane slip road. Most importantly the new location for the bus stop is just after the turning into Persiaran Wawasan which is a blind spot and we foresee that accidents will happen."

That damned bus stop.

Before the existence of Setia Walk, it's already slowing down traffic to those wanting to go into Psrn Wawasan.

Hate those sorh@i stupid taxis parking in front of bus stop, causing jams & slow downs.

Anyway, good to see the ramp, it's good.

Actually I don't see the point of a U-Turn ramp. Why can't they build a ramp leading straight from the LDP into Setia Walk?

Two points were discussed about why the U-ramp was chosen. You may scroll back and read it up.

Actually a lot, even in the mornings as there is a queue for cars doing U-turns, previously no one doing u-turns when Setia Walk was non-existent.

Bus stand should only be for buses and not taxis, damn stupid taxi sapu drivrs and people picking up their friends and relatives at the bus stand instead fo the taxi stand behind. Where's the so called SPAD when their Enforcement director lives in Puchong? Cant he see the problems faced by tax paying citizen who get stuck in jams caused by these low-life taxi sapu drivers?

PUCHONG: About 300 residents of an apartment block here had to vacate their units when a hill slope nearby collapsed for the second time.

The first incident occurred on Feb 19. The Pangsapuri Beringin residents claimed that repair works were completed late, resulting in a recurrence of the landslide at about 4.30pm yesterday.

They said a Subang Jaya Municipal Council spokesman had directed residents of the Block B apartment to evacuate to a hall nearby as a precaution.

A resident, Siti Zaleha Dalli, 38, described this incident as even worse.

“I was made to understand that a sewage pipe and a water pipe had burst, aggravating the situation,” she said.

Another resident, L. Vijayan, 31, said the repair works on the temporary retaining wall were merely a short-term solution.

A check by Bernama revealed that a section of the landslide had affected the back portion of a row of terrace houses located near the Block B apartment. There was no casualty. - Bernama

It's the Pusat Bandar Puchong Industrial area, on the far side of Bandar Puteri, behind Koi Tropika.
