If I upgrade to ios 6.1 using itunes, will I still be able to revert back ios 5.1.1 using redsnow (shsh blobs already saved to pc)?

Depends on what device you have .... if iPhone 5, then maybe you need to wait for the tutorial from either redmondpie or iClarified. For the 4s, should be okay as long as you have all the relevant SHSH (I know there's some weird SHSH that you need to have). Check the Re-Restore tutorial in iClarified. Some requirement to have this SHSH with that SHSH .... not as straight forward as before.

Using 4s now, last time I followed this tutorial and successfully rerestored back to ios 5.1.1 from 5.1.1.

I've got shsh blobs for ios 5.1.1, 6.0.1 and looks like cydia just added 6.1

Is this according to requirements needed to downgrade now?

If u use restore the whole phone will be wiped clean regardless of JBreak or non, is this right?
Is this consider a fresh update?

See I knew this would happen. Apple is waiting for Evad3rs to release on Sunday and by Tuesday (patching a bug excuse) they will close the loophole. Need to update the wife's iPhone 4 tonight before Apple close the loophole.
