hi guys i am having problems to upgrade 4.3.3 to 5.1.1 for my iphone 4.
It keep on getting 3194.
I have added hosts for any of these 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com at the bottom but still getting error 3194 or another error 21.

Guys how do u factory a jailbroken iphone4? I wanna sell my iPhone but then when I click reset and erase all setting on the phone itself, it show me the loading circle for a long time. Then I press both home button with power button to get it back. So pls advise how can I do a reset. FYI I m on 5.1.1. I tried to hold the option on my Mac and select restore to my download firmware and click on 5.1.1 it doesn't allow me to install this. I think apple stop signing on this as ios6 is out.

How do u do a full restore? But by clicking on restore will it ask me to download iOS 6?

Current RS support restore pre-A5 device with or w/out blobs IINM~

Blobs are still required

Confirm merr? New update wont need the blobs anymore for pre-A5 device as mention in dev-team blog

yes u can jb it right away..u dont need to downgrade to 5.0.1

use the newest redsn0w , then click "more" and go to restore, from there u just follow the instructions to restore like normal. make sure u have ur SHSH first if not u cant restore to that version

Do you have copy of SHSH blob for iOS5.1.1 in the first place?
If no, don't waste anymore time as restoring to 5.1.1 will never work as for now.

Hi guys, I hope this is relevant here. I bought my iPhone 4S less than a year ago from Apple store Malaysia. My power button just spoiled, it just got stuck. It's jail broken.. So if I want to send it in for warranty I just need to restore it right?

Does anyone know what is Apple's policy on this? Do I get a new phone or they'll repair it for me? And approximately how long if they were to repair?
