Err..why need to unzip the GalaxyRom files.!??

which rom are you using?
cwm flashable?
did the file contain zimage?
if yes normally should not extract it just wipe and choose install from sd card

Hmm..for G version right.? A bit different compared to non-G as for non-G there's no need to un-zip any custom roms files when flashing with CWM. Once got CWM then just go ahead flashing the zip files. If tar or tar.md5 then flash with MobileOdin.
Anyway..G version sifu knows better than me :-))

Ok. I think you need to download V5 and restore that one. V5.1 is to be flashed on top of V5.

Actually g version rom abit different. Dunno why all also use restore method for roms. make it difficult to help cos non g never use this way.
