Whats the difrences btwen gingerbread roms and kernel roms?

check the name of the downloaded folder, make sure no spaces.

kernel is kernal
kernal not = to rom

rom will included kernel
kernel is just something like linking the hardware to your rom for it to operate (just like the middle man)

i meant the folder name. is it SuperROM_v3.0?

#rm nandroid.md5
#md5sum *img > nandroid.md5

try restore again

Yes its a theme issue. But those white pop-ups are rare.

it seems that app lock also not working very well on thebyani 4.1

i can access all those app that had been protected password only prompt if i lock the screen when accessing lock app
