Last week my sis car cannot start need to jump start, so I opened my Toyota emergency briefcase which comes with PC.
Take out the red n black wire.
Connect to her wira.
Come back to my pc.... Staring for 2-3 minutes. Drive another car for jump start.
I dunno where to clip the wire!!!

Anyone know?

How did her car end up like that? Did not use for a long time ?

Does the PC have auto folding side mirror?
*
It has a electrical motor, but you need to press the switch manually. I do not consider this as auto.

I have 2 colleagues tested the car and did not like it, citing 'heavy feel' as the main reason.
I think the main reason was that the car needed to charge the battery during the test drive, making it to give the heavy feel

tested the car last saturday. dont really like the car interior, especially the original HU. the car pickup is slow, ......but the price tag is not justifiable IMO sad.gif

Comparing the price, the max torque, safety features:

PC 97K, 169Nm, with stability control, traction control, 7 airbags
Vios TRD 92K, 141Nm, kosong + 2 airbags
Altis G 123K, 173Nm, kosong + 2 airbags

===========================
Relatively speaking, the price is justifiable. I know it is still expensive compared to other countries. The price for a full specs PC in Japan is about 2.5million yen, or RM 102k. Even that, they only have 6 airbags. A basic unit costs 1.69million yen, or RM 68k with only 2 airbags, but without other features.
I know many people here are more happy to pay for leather seat, DVD, camera, sports rim, bodykit. Nevermind if the car has no good safety features because they are intangible. That is why the new Camry 2.5 has no stability control and yet probably will be selling like hot cakes.....

Altis G is 2.0 or 1.8?
*
Altis 1.8G, it is closer to PC in terms of max torque
2.0 V max torque is 187Nm, priced at 132K

Guys what is the waiting list for Prius C red now?

Btw is it advisable to get this car if my salary is RM 4K? Live with my parents so no rental commitment. I figure 9 years loan would cost me RM1k/month. Probably need to top up if i sell the car but doesn't really matter.. I'm 22 so my salary has a lot of room to grow.

So i guess my question is... how expensive is the maintenance vs normal car like vios or city? I travel 60-80km to work everyday so fuel saving will be significant.

If your intention is to save money on petrol, I think it is not worth buying it because the saving will probably not be able to off set the depreciation. However, if you want a safer car, I think it is a good choice. At your age, you should invest in a house / apartment instead. I can share with you the cars I used in the past:

1989 - Toyota Corolla GL, used, 12k [Family loan]
1994 - Kancil EX 660, new, 24k [2-year bank loan]
1998 - Proton Wira 1.5 GL, new, 45k [government loan]
2009 - Renault Grand Scenic, used, 60k [Interest-free company loan 40k]
2012 - Prius C white, new, 97.8k

I used my wife's Viva 660 for 1 year and the FC was 18-19km/l, not very far from PC. If I were you, I would save the money and do some investment in insurance, mutual fund or even shares. Anyway, this is just my opinion. FYI, I am probably one of the oldest owners among the members here. A few more years to go before retirement smile.gif

Checked and confirmed the open AP fee is 10k.

The actual market value is at least 40k

These 2 are exempted from paying the AP fee:
"(a) the replacement and extension of import licence; and
(b) an import licence for the replacement of quota allocation"

meaning all the franchised AP holders.

Or else, we will pobably have to pay another 20K for our PC, 10K for the fee; another 10K for "processing fee".....

Anyone notice the VSC or Track Control icon too sensitive?

I keep seeing the icon light up (A car with slippery road sign) whenever i driving in and out from my neighborhood as there is this small road dent when cornering.

Yes, your are right. It did happen to mine when cornering on an uneven surface. Could hear some kind of noise / sound.

Several people I met have asked me this question: how often you need to charge the battery of your car?

Looks like there are many people still do not understand the concept of hybrid car. Sigh!

Went for my second service this morning at the Sg Buloh SC. Surprisingly, it took them 100min to do the job although there were only 5 customers in front of me. After settling the bill, I was given a small umbrella today as a free gift. No gift for my 1st service.
I complained about the dashboard and back noise today but was told to go back next week for them to rectify as today's schedule for repair was full.
Average FC since day 1 is 27.4km/l after doing 5100km. My current tank of petrol is also at 27.4km/l after consuming 4+ bars of petrol. Looks like I have reached a steady state in terms of petrol consumption rate.

Rattling sounds, some kind of loose parts inside the dashboard, di-d-di. For the back, it is on the left hand side, especially when I have passanger sitting at the back, or when driving over a road hump, yi-wai-yi-wai kind of sound. The SC guy who handled my car this morning said that they need to dismantle the whole daskboard and insert sponge and it will take at least half a day.

anyway got to check the sound u mean... i donno where to check..
May be it is for the 2nd service only. 1st service comes with a survey, so the feedback results may not be accurate if there is a free gift. If your air cond fan speed is high, you may not be able to hear the rattling sounds.

So i off the aircond
And make the engine on EV or Petrol mode...?
The sound happen on idle or moving only?
Or both
*
During moving especially when the petrol engine is running.
I believe not all units have the problem. If you could not hear it, it means yours is ok.
