QUOTE(Salamander @ Jun 20 2012, 01:32 AM) Dunno where can get in KL, but I'm sure there would be more choices on your end. I only waxed mine like a week or two after getting it. When I received my car it wasn't washed at all or didn't seem to be. Plus there were horrific marks on the hood that could only be seen in sunlight at specific angles. I've been having different problems though with cats sitting on my car so I've had to wash more than often. Also I must have the hardest water known to mankind and it leaves the most unsightly water spots if not wiped within 5 minutes or so (even in garage shade). I still haven't done any coating and probably won't be for a while until I save up enough (gzox coating is only available where I am afaik). I use half a bucket of diamond filtered water to wipe. No mineral stain. Added on June 20, 2012, 9:17 amQUOTE(conqu3ror @ Jun 19 2012, 11:05 PM) Anyone can confirm the Front & Back Tire Pressure (PSI) needed for PC? I found out the current tire pressure is 46 PSI, seem too high. US manual says 35psi front; 33 rear. My car's sticker says 32psi for both. May the weather here is hot and pressure will raise during use. This post has been edited by engah: Jun 20 2012, 09:17 AM

QUOTE(conqu3ror @ Jun 20 2012, 09:53 AM) Where you saw it? Maybe is me BTW, most of the time the FC I can get is 23-24km/l. I always use the ECO Score Screen to monitor my acceleration in ECO & EV mode. Mind to share what is your Maximum speed you attempted? Myself attempted 150km/h with the car still stable & no floating feel, just the air drag sound getting loud. For city drive, iif your car is not running on EV (ie low battery power), you should drive at the optimum speed of 90km/hr. If the battery is charged, drive at 60-70 to make use of the battery power. Even with slight traffic. jam, I am still getting 27 to 32km/l, with single passanger, daily.. When I reach office or home, battery power is normally close to the min level.

QUOTE(keanutan @ Jun 21 2012, 11:27 PM) place order early last 2 weeks . now loan all approved deposit also on 30k also on standby ,, but BABY PRIUS huhuhu .. still need to wait , SA say 4 months waiting list.. yesterday call SA say my list is on their showroom second waiting list .next month see they got allocated or not.. the waiting is killing me slowly .. today saw the new city cheaper and 5 years warranty ... My SA in Kota Damansara said the waiting time was 2 months; 2 weeks ago. There are so many agents advertising on Mudah & Carlist. Why not you try those ? For me, it was a "falling in love at first sight" case, I booked 3 weeks before launching.

Forgot to mention that the route I used was Kota Damansara -NKVE - Subang toll -Federal HW. The traffic is always congested during rush hours, so there is no way to drive fast. Speed=40 to 75km/hr. I tried Johor - Melaka using cruise control set at 90km/l, the FC was 28km/l

The outside temperature this morning was lower than in the past. So air-cond was not fully in use. May be this contribute to a better FC. I allowed the battery to be charged until 3-4 bars and then used EV to power the car. Since the traffic is always congested in the morning, even if I were to drive fast, I would need to apply brake immediately. So, by driving moderately, it probably takes 2-5 min longer but the FC is much better.

Just pumped 25.37litres of petrol to full tank today after traveling for 688km since my last re-fill. A full tank has 37litres. So, I should be able to travel 1,000km.

QUOTE(peterscm @ Jun 28 2012, 10:13 PM) finally collect my wife silver prius c. close inspection found 2 scratch lines at front bumper. already inform SA. this SA really . Promised appointment around 5pm+. waited till 6pm+ then arrived at showroom as he came back from wangsa maju jpj. he has no time to entertain me and my wife to explain the car functions. not even go thru the delivery check list. luckily I already spent those waiting hour to explore the car function myself. he also promised full tank of petrol but only pump half tank. pump 21.44 litres RON95. So from full to half tank is around 21 litres. next half tank will be 15 litres till total dry up. Did he ask you to give him a rating of 9 and above for his service in the survey form ? That's all they care.

QUOTE(engah @ Jul 3 2012, 08:09 PM) I was experimenting to see how good FC could be for a long distance journey. So, it took me nearly 3 hours to reach Melaka from PJ. I best I have ever seen was 35+km/l. On everage, this is what I got. Quite disappointing. May be my driving technique was not effective? Addtional info, the EV was 54%, or about 85km.

QUOTE(alg7_munif @ Jul 4 2012, 08:43 AM) Is this normal? It seems difficult to get the battery fully charged because when the level reached to about 6-7 bars, the car will start to use more electric motor and the battery level will hover around 3-6 bars most of the time. It also took literally minutes to drain out the battery to 2-3 bars from 5-6 bars when I drive slowly while looking for a parking spot. Yes, it is normal, I think. The air cond temp and fan speed also affect the rate of power consumption. Unlike, other cars where belt is used, the air-cond in this car is operating on electrical compressor without any belt, like our house hold air cond. If you are the only person in the car, direct all air flow flaps toward you and reduce the fan speed and increase the temp, if you want to minimise battery power usage.

QUOTE(gck @ Jul 5 2012, 09:17 PM) The extra function can be unlocked by their service computer, but I doubt they will do it for you. In fact the programming has disabled some menu here.. Bollock. Next Tuesday my Pc arrived, gotta pay balance purchase price by bank draft! Anyone break in their car? I think the auto-lock is reserved for the next FL. Otherwise, not many things they can add to it to jack up the price.

Another experiment today to share. Traveled back from Melaka to PJ today using the cruise control set at 95km/hr. However, I had to discontinue using CC for the last 20-30km due to the traffic congestion. This post has been edited by engah: Jul 5 2012, 10:12 PM

3 years ago, I wanted to buy the Altis but decided not to because I discovered that the engine used was VVTi whereas in other countries like China, they used the newer engine, the Dual VVTi. True enough, their introduced the newer engine in the the FL version later. I will not be surprised to see the auto-lock feature in the FL version later.
