Hey guys, does anyone here use Superlux for studio rehearsal/jamming studio?

guys.. my hd440 muff all torn up
what kind of other earmuff would be suitable for hd440 aside the default one
would beyerdynamic 770 work?

i need some help here, superflux 668B or 681 evo is better? btw i am using it for music and gaming and i realise these 2 headphones dont have any mic so is thr anyway i can buy like for example a clip on mic to it? any recommendations?

where to find hd381 ? i tried pm all sellers on lowyat, still no reply yet.

hi guys,

i think no one yet in my position in choosing a superlux

got a 1W guitar tube amp (Blackstar HT-1) with emulated out for headphones. cant really play through the speakers as much cos I usually play at night after work so dont wanna disturb my kids sleeping. so my 10yrs Sony cans just died, maybe will repair but after 10 years maybe its time for a new can.

I like the looks of the HD330 & 660 but do you think the 150ohm rating can be driven by my amp effectively or it dont matter. i play mostly classic rock/metal/blues.

if possible a flat EQ would be nice cos I wanna use my amp & pedals EQ to shape the sound.

Any advice? Thanks!

sup fellas, just got my hands on SuperLux HD 681B. sounds great at the price im paying for. Anyone knows which mods is essential for this model?

Supp guys. As much as I love my HD661, the clamping force and bright sound makes me a little fatigue using it for long period. So I always swap it with my SE215.

What other Superlux models that are more/less similar with Beyer 770?

Any news when the HMC-681 EVO will come to Malaysia?

Own a few superlux HD681.. but this thing make my ear sweat like crazy (im a big guy, with huge head). But still, for the price - AMAZING sound and semi open design is great..

1 - I open the padding and found that the filter was too thin thin for my liking, so i cut out some cloth and lay it on the inside of the filter. This took out a few treble that i don't really like. Of course this is mostly preferential.

2 - I think the sponge on the padding is ok, but the pleather surface itself is quite hard, so had the genius idea of flipping it inside out
i was absolutely amazed by the result. The inside surface of HD681 was softer, and helps a lot with the sweating. Somehow it felt nicer too (on my ear at least)

Anyway. Just wanted to share just in case anyone else has same issue.

hello guys i`m looking forward to own a piece of superlux headphone...can someone suggest to me a good headphone at price range = RM 150...i`m eyeing for HD 668B..

main used at Home and sometime at Public spaces
i`m listening to quite a wide range type of music,
dance, techno then classical but mostly piano and lil bit of song like adele and sia...xD

my main awareness is that this HD668B sound will leak too much but, i doubt that will happen since my walkman mp3 wont be able to support it lil bit high impedance..

can someone share they experience using HD 668B?

Hello Guys, my quix review of Superlux HD 668B (I am not an audiophile though, and the review might not be analytical and critical.)

I just get my superlux HD 668B Headphone, and today it`s been with me for 24+hour or so to say... lets get it straight to the point.

First impression,

the look is quite ok?? it`s not that appealing compared to other high end headphone but in this matter it is subjective after all.



In term of built quality the leatherette pad is quite hard, i know.. i know...if u applied a force by hand it will pressed down, but when in contact with the flesh

around my ear it doesn't bulge at all and worsen by the new headphone clamping force, its gonna make ur first 24 hour period of using this headphone feel like

hell or lil bit uncomfortable..BUT worry not, the clamping force will wear out, and i figured out that it will wear out faster by clamping the headphone to the box it

came with and maybe after a few over night clamping session it will sit on my ear comfortably.



Sound produced by this headphone is quite great, but the things that stand out most is the treble, it`s a lil bit high, but it`s ok for me..since i`ve read other review

and i expected this.... for others, aftermarket velour pad might able to dampened the treble and also make it more comfortable to use. One more great things

that i have found out that, when i paired this with my Sony Walkman nwz-b162f it enhanced the bass and even out the treble or at least it`s not as sharp as

before..

Overall, it`s great starter headphone for beginners who want to try the whole new world of audio experience.. and that`s conclude my review about using this

product, and it is quite a pleasant experience.

sidenote..... HOLYSHIT, when I wear this headphone while watching my fav movie, i start noticing few sound e.g door shutter, foot step, wind, all those little sound that make watching movie experience whole lot better, and i was like....WTF?? i`ve never heard this before(been 3 time rewatch the movie) btw the movie is Intouchable >> Trailer`s Here
