QUOTE(ketapang @ Nov 9 2012, 08:43 AM)
Okay, here's the result after delid smile.gif :
8 hours prime95, 90% ram, 4.5Ghz @ 1.3v.

Before this, my temperature will hit 104-105c @ 4.5Ghz. So delid improve my temperature by 9-10c. Not to mention, im only using cheap TIM here, deepcool thermal compound rclxub.gif . I bet i will get 12-15c improvement if i use liquid ultra wink.gif . Now im perfectly stable with this speed flex.gif. Btw, it took me around 10min only to delid, seriously im really glad i do it right. laugh.gif

Added on November 9, 2012, 9:37 amUpdate:
It seems 4.5Ghz is the max oc i can get with my cooler. 4.6Ghz already hitting 104c (after 20min) & I need at least 1.4v to be stable without any WHEA error. rclxub.gif I really have a bad chip here. So 4.5 it is. flex.gif
*

What a huge drop bro pretty sure you could shave off another 9-10C with liquid Ultra.
I will collect liquis Pro today & to be compared with Ultra this weekend, hopefully.
Salute to your bravery on delidding. Congrats!

Liquid Pro is the best TIM & 2x better than Ultra.

Even used on IHS (not underneath IHS) tempt can be reduce as well? Also mind to tell me where can I get it?
*

I didn't try Ultra on stock TIM (un-delided IHS) but I guess the improvement won't be as good as delidding one.
Efficiency of heat dissipation already lost in the crappy stock TIM.

QUOTE(ketapang @ Nov 9 2012, 07:47 PM)
Not exactly but for ihs to die tim, yes its the best out there because its almost identical to fluxless solder. Metal>TIM in heat transfer. smile.gif

Not to mention hard to remove. laugh.gif Anyway bro you already order liquid pro? how many months it takes to ship to malaysia? any local dealer you know selling liquid pro?
*

I ordered Liquid Pro from their website on 21/10
The parcel actually reached Msia shore few days ago while I was not at home.
So roughly took 2 weeks to arrive.

Also can get our stock in 1-2days if getting from locally retailer. Newegg ETA around 2weeks is it?
*

Yes, almost 2 weeks after MOQ reached.
For RM80 difference only better get it from our local seller.
The best offer I could find is from lingloong @ DotaTech

Also recommend to buy from him. Very nice and efficient retailer in our LYN. Just ordered my sammy green 30nm ram from Neweeg last 10days and ETA around 16th Nov sweat.gif what a long wait
*
+1. Buying goods from overseas is like that. It's taking some time especially at customs dept but definitely worth it when you get cheaper price and locally unavailable items. I also heard Cyntrix might bring in this Sammy green kit soon well that's a good news for SFF builders.

*

I think they have missed out your form. Try refill the form and by rights you should receive an email containing a Paypal invoice or Public Bank account number in the remark. Do check your spam/junk folder as well. My deals with newegg MY were awesome. Both transactions were as smooth as butter & process done within the same day. They are quite responsive and reliable.

How often u received their mail in your junk folder? I usually will just delete/clear my junk folder  rolleyes.gif

At least 2 junk mails daily. Hotmail will auto move the dupe mails to junk folder when they detected multiple mails sent from the same IP address.

Nowadays there's always a risk out there.
Even if you go to the shop buy, end up being robbed at the parking lot. biggrin.gif
Newegg, you can trust them.

i would like to know whether IB got certain batch which can be classified as "golden" chip as first generation of i7?  sweat.gif
*

There's no obvious golden batch for SB/SB-E//IB, only golden luck laugh.gif
but the best chip I've ever seen for 3770K would be L221B009, which does 5.3GHz @ 1.488v & 5.0GHz @ 1.288v

1st time experiencing Asus Anti-Surge. System was shutdown and restarted. Happened just after installed new 2nd hand extension cable and new casing. Never experience it before lol.
Now back with normal psu cable back. Hopefully will run normally back sad.gif
*

Be careful with bad extension cable, some might even cause PSU power ripple & in the end kill your mobo or take other parts with it.

Not a good comparison but seems that Liquid Pro is just slightly better than Liquid Ultra.

Liquid Ultra:

Did you guys ever concerned about WHEA error?
*

IMO no it's not what I concern about.
If you pass LinX/prime95 for several hours with no errors then your OC is stable.

You mean no WHEA errors OR no errors in LinX/Prime95?

Read again. If no LinX/Prime95 error then you are good to go.

ram so suck i guess. Losing so many at 2200Mhz with 1.67v
But i thing 13-11-24 should be all right. never test yet.
But the processor temp seem all right, right?
*

13-12-13 is a weird timing. Usually tRCD is higher than tCL.
You should try 9-11-9, 10-12-12 or 11-13-13
Nice CPU clock btw. thumbup.gif
