QUOTE(ketapang @ Nov 9 2012, 08:43 AM) Okay, here's the result after delid What a huge drop bro pretty sure you could shave off another 9-10C with liquid Ultra.8 hours prime95, 90% ram, 4.5Ghz @ 1.3v. Before this, my temperature will hit 104-105c @ 4.5Ghz. So delid improve my temperature by 9-10c. Not to mention, im only using cheap TIM here, deepcool thermal compound Added on November 9, 2012, 9:37 amUpdate: It seems 4.5Ghz is the max oc i can get with my cooler. 4.6Ghz already hitting 104c (after 20min) & I need at least 1.4v to be stable without any WHEA error. I will collect liquis Pro today & to be compared with Ultra this weekend, hopefully. Salute to your bravery on delidding. Congrats! This post has been edited by owikh84: Nov 9 2012, 10:36 AM |

QUOTE(lat_lonelyboyz @ Nov 9 2012, 07:44 PM) Even used on IHS (not underneath IHS) tempt can be reduce as well? Also mind to tell me where can I get it? I didn't try Ultra on stock TIM (un-delided IHS) but I guess the improvement won't be as good as delidding one.Efficiency of heat dissipation already lost in the crappy stock TIM. QUOTE(ketapang @ Nov 9 2012, 07:47 PM) Not exactly but for ihs to die tim, yes its the best out there because its almost identical to fluxless solder. Metal>TIM in heat transfer. I ordered Liquid Pro from their website on 21/10Added on November 9, 2012, 7:49 pm Not to mention hard to remove. The parcel actually reached Msia shore few days ago while I was not at home. So roughly took 2 weeks to arrive. This post has been edited by owikh84: Nov 9 2012, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(lat_lonelyboyz @ Nov 11 2012, 11:51 AM) Also recommend to buy from him. Very nice and efficient retailer in our LYN. Just ordered my sammy green 30nm ram from Neweeg last 10days and ETA around 16th Nov +1. Buying goods from overseas is like that. It's taking some time especially at customs dept but definitely worth it when you get cheaper price and locally unavailable items. I also heard Cyntrix might bring in this Sammy green kit soon well that's a good news for SFF builders. |

QUOTE(trisx @ Nov 11 2012, 01:26 PM) i ordered 2 kit sammy green also from newegg but dint receive any pm or email regarding my order. almost 1 week plus ald. wonder if they skipped my order? I think they have missed out your form. Try refill the form and by rights you should receive an email containing a Paypal invoice or Public Bank account number in the remark. Do check your spam/junk folder as well. My deals with newegg MY were awesome. Both transactions were as smooth as butter & process done within the same day. They are quite responsive and reliable. |

QUOTE(usop8290 @ Nov 11 2012, 10:21 PM) bad lemon maybe There's no obvious golden batch for SB/SB-E//IB, only golden luck i would like to know whether IB got certain batch which can be classified as "golden" chip as first generation of i7? but the best chip I've ever seen for 3770K would be L221B009, which does 5.3GHz @ 1.488v & 5.0GHz @ 1.288v |

QUOTE(trisx @ Nov 13 2012, 03:09 AM) 1st time experiencing Asus Anti-Surge. System was shutdown and restarted. Happened just after installed new 2nd hand extension cable and new casing. Never experience it before lol. Be careful with bad extension cable, some might even cause PSU power ripple & in the end kill your mobo or take other parts with it.Now back with normal psu cable back. Hopefully will run normally back QUOTE(ketapang @ Nov 13 2012, 07:37 AM) well done mate. Looks to be a sweet spot for 24/7. |

Not a good comparison but seems that Liquid Pro is just slightly better than Liquid Ultra.

QUOTE(arerife @ Nov 15 2012, 12:14 PM) i already emailed them back about that miscalculating. 13-12-13 is a weird timing. Usually tRCD is higher than tCL.but like before, late feedback. haihhhh Added on November 16, 2012, 9:58 amMy i5 3570k @ 4.6GHz 1.26v hyper 212 p/p ram so suck i guess. Losing so many at 2200Mhz with 1.67v But i thing 13-11-24 should be all right. never test yet. But the processor temp seem all right, right? You should try 9-11-9, 10-12-12 or 11-13-13 Nice CPU clock btw. |
