how to use hop up or hook up?

i saw this function in some pages... its for the bb to travel further....

but how to use it actually?

Know about hop up but never use it

What is hop up function actually ar?? Saw some with hop up sticker on it but dunno what i mean..

nice too see many collector here.. too bad hard to find in malaysia..

What I know about hop up

"Hop-up devices are used on airsoft devices to apply more backspin to pellets. As stated, the backspin allows pellets to fly farther and fall less. Since the pellets are light and wind ultimately affects the trajectory, pellets can still fly off to the left or right. Hop-up can be adjusted to fit the weight of the BB, or just to do anything the user wishes"

But as far as I know hop up applied on AEG only..if I'm not mistaken

Ic ic... But how to adjust it ar? Coz i saw some Galaxy model gun have this word on it... Should have buy 1 to try it out... Hehehe..

I think you have to read the manual ..if you have 1 in the box with the gun that you bought

Hi all,

I would just like to check the price that is worth paying for for these "boys' toys".
I have been offered Cyma and JG (Jing Gong) brand MP5s', M4, M16, AK47, etc for RM1k and above each.
Are they worth paying for, as I have checked on the net that they cost less than US$90.
I know they have to mark up the price as it is illegal here but is the price mentioned above too exorbitant?
Is this the 'normal' price here or has anyone come across better offers?

Yeah guys, that was what I thought too. Cos' I have checked a few sites and the Chinese brands seldom cost more than US$100.
So, how much do you think is a reasonable price here? I would just like to have a rough idea.

yah loh.. if buy from internet is so much cheaper.. usd100 x 3.2 and aso dun forget about the shipping but can bring in or not?? if u guys got free time.. travel to klia and c how many stuff kena rampas by our kastam..

Example for a WE Hi-Capa 5.1, USD 100. Shipping cost USD 50. Total up USD 150 x 3.2 is less than RM500 but can you bring in by your own? If cannot, your RM500 gone. Pay extra another RM500, although in legalize country you can buy 2 guns (everyone knows that) but here, the RM500 is use for bypass custom, arrive your hand.

Same like drugs, one pill cost RM5 only but when you go buy it, it will charge you RM30 for it. My friend used to do this and it is bloody nice to earn quick money but not worth it because causing people life and your own life as well.

Obviously the price is going to be much higher because of the risk the people have to take to bring in the "toys". Everybody knows that but I just want to know what price is the "norm" here. What is considered a worthwhile buy.
Sometimes it is not about the price of the item I am concerned about. It's about the quality of the item that I am paying for.
If I were to pay RM1k++ for a CYMA or JG, then it had better be of considerable quality.
Anyway does anyone have any experience with CYMA and JG rifles? How is the quality?

Check what model it is. CYMA old model, DO NOT get it. Get latest model of CYMA.

For JG, it is quite durability. Latest few model from JG got full metal one, the price is roughly the same I guess, if want to get, get the full metal one.
