Maybe this ad gave some malaysian the idea to abuse the car....

I'd gladly pay fuel without subsidy, rather then pay for artificially inflated car prices. If you do some calculations, you'd know how much you actually save in the end. Then again, this is off-topic..so..

Went to a PE centre to check out the new Preve, as planning to trade in my car for a new one. No car for test drive yet, so just had to look and feel the car for now. Exterior is pretty nice, although slightly disappointed with the LED lights. But the disc brakes are 15", same size as my previous car (Prelude), pretty impressive!

The interior feels plain, yet functional, so not much complains there. I wish they would implement a digital air-con instead of analogue knobs, and replace the faux wood trims with something less.. "smudgy" instead, but that's just me. Overall I kinda like it. One thing that I really wanted was leather seats, and the SA told me I can't really re-do it outside, cuz of the airbag. Damn.

Looking forward to the test drive, planning to get one in Brown.

what if Ford Fiesta VS Preve? ignore the price..compare the spec n performance?i'm not familiar with Fiesta..

saw and sit on it at proton show room yesterday. the design of the meter not to my liking. the front seat have good support but the rear seat are to soft to my liking. it make you sink to the seat. the seat are low like previous proton. so make higher for easy access.
do you all notice that preve steering rack cant be adjusted.

u mean the steering? can be adjust.

i think u hv never driven polo and conti cars use DBW and CVT..

Yea Yeah tomolo go pay the 10% deposit my car loan approve already. Good or not good all cars got problem. Even new cars from toyota or honda also got recall la if there is anything happen. Any car also got problem one see if you like it you buy it if dont no need buy simple as that.

still have to go jpj select plate number after select car can be sent within 2 to 3 days. i book during proton power of 1 fair so have the very first batch. can't wait for the new car.

I don't have problem with the interior. in fact I like it. minimalist at its best.

When ppl complain its welding point like shit, they forgot this car actually got RESS, ESP, ABS etc.

When ppl compain its sluggish, they forgot this is actually a turbocharged car that cost below RM80 grand

To be honest, I have not tested Preve, and I don't need to buy a car before end of October 2012, but, I'm going to buy this car, not because it's proton, it's because I don't mind simple, straight design, to be honest i don't even mind if it's squeak and rattle here and there, because these issue will somehow happen in any brand of car, no matter how cheap or how expensive.

The technology is very good indeed in preve, but do you guy believe that it cost rm73k? ( to be fun enough)

The cheapest cost you 59k, for 59k at least you can get multilink suspension.

I don't recall any new car selling in M'sia now can give you this.
